  • In this video I remove and replace the hydraulic clutch master and slave unit due to a leak and loosing clutch pedal to the floor

    Thanks ! :) It was really helpful ! My pedal is way down , after slave cracked . I will replace it tommorow and hope that is not preasure pad :|

    The reason your peddle dropped to the floor the plastic clip on your brake and clutch is more likely snapped and you will have to change that although it will still work it will just mean your clutch paddle will be heavy the same thing happens to my van .it’s a vacuum system and dose not require fluid

    It’s easier to drop the slave cylinder down then it is to bring the master cylinder up

      Yeah very fiddly but needed doing was told after of a easier way but I stuck to the guide books lol

    Cheers mate nice one , same shit different van , when mine went it cracked the plastic clutch pedal mount off , the clutch pedal Spring has come apart and I can't get it back in ? Any ideas welcomed or a photo of what it should look like? .

      I’d say a couple of hours labour so depending garage between £100/£200

      I think I paid £40-45 from someone had bought it but not used it but I think they are on eBay around £70-90
