Hey, I am grinding at 0-1 with an eureka oro. dping a pretty fine normal puck prep and the coffee goes way to fast in the lelit marax. It uses around 3 bar of pressure the whole shot. I blind tested it and it goes to 9 bar so pretty fine. I cant get around my head and dont know what the problem here is.
Tell me more... what's your yield and in how much time? I'm trying to quantify just how fast is fast because given the pressure discrepancies I would have said you're too fine and that the grinder probably needs to be recalibrated but if your shot is fast, it makes me wonder how fast. Possibly it doesn't have time to build up to 9 psi before you end the shot.
@@alanwill yeah that is the same I thought, it starts around 8 secs to preinfuse and then it just flies in arund 10/15 seconds tu 40 grams of coffee without texture or crema
@@salvasied my guess is the grinder needs to be recalibrated because I don’t think the 0-1 setting is actually true. I think it’s a lot coarser than it’s saying. But again, just a guess, I could be wrong.
