My wife owned a Audi Q5 and when we test drove a 2023 GV70, we were both BLOWN away! We couldn't believe how much nicer it was than her car.

If you're considering a Genesis, you might want to think twice. Reports suggest their customer service leaves much to be desired, especially for a luxury car brand. Plus, if your car needs repairs, be prepared to wait at least three months for it to be fixed.

@@baoweezy5911 I've heard and read the same thing in both Google and Yelp reviews in the Las Vegas area. Looks as though the Sales and Service department are atrocious along with overall management.
We sold our Model S last summer and finally wanted something with more comfort, tech, quality, and luxury. We ended up getting a 23' GV70 2.5T Sport Prestige. No brainer and still loving it after 19k miles.
It's much better than German competition. Looks orginal and got a lot of additional equipment as standard which you have to pay a lot of money in German cars. Great review as always. Greetings

Since the GV70 is rear wheel drive based, it will actually send the power/torque first to the rear wheels when you're coming from a complete stop. I've noticed this when my screen shows the power/torque distribution illustration.
That makes sense.. I'd like to watch that animation while driving. It's pretty cool..
Very nice and thorough review. I bought one of the very first 2022 GV70 3.5 Sport Prestige's back in November 2021. Saw a group of them outside a local dealership, very impressed with the looks, and stopped and asked for a test drive, I was still researching the Germans and Jaguar for my next vehicle. The test drive blew me away, huge difference between comfort mode (pure luxury cruiser) and sport+ (very sporty, really holds gears), and the tech , fit/finish were excellent. Traded my Q50 Red Sport on the spot, two years in I would buy it again tomorrow. All the compact luxury SUV's are fairly comparable, but Genesis wins the value proposition and has the best warranty.
Another great video and review! That really is a sweet SUV and so well equipped for the money. I would definitely consider one for my next ride which hopefully won't be for a while since I've only had this one for 6 months. Do you all want to know why the color is kind of dumb? Well MAUNA is Hawaiian for White. You know how I know. I was on a US Navy ship called USS Mauna Kea which means White Mountain in Hawaii and it is on the big island and is an extinct volcano which is what all old Navy ammunition ships were named for. Other than that minor mistake the SUV is nice. Subarus get 8.3 inches of ground clearance. I am not enamored with the instrument panel, having said that. All in all, a great reviewer with a great SUV and a very good review!

Great review. Covered everything I wanted to hear. I’m in the market for cx30 and have been going back and forth between turbo or non turbo with the Bose system. Your video I think just helped me with that decision. Thanks bro.
BRAND NEW WITH A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT 😮
Nice review but you need to become more familiar with the Genesis brand because at the 23:00 mark, you stated that most of the power would be going to the front wheels. That is completely inaccurate because Genesis vehicles are "rear wheel biased" with the capability to send 100% of the power to the rear wheels and also send 100% of the power to a single rear wheel, due to the Electronic Rear Differential. This is also why the Genesis vehicles drive so much sportier than most of the front wheel biased competition.
I'm so a custom to looking over my shoulder and side mirror i normally forget those side cameras lol.

I got the SQ5 and am very happy. Air suspension, sport diff, dual pane windows, etc. 3.5 GV was just too “brutish” for me. I’d actually be happy with the 2.5.
I was about to buy one then I read all the forum and saw all the branchial problem how many times I’ve been in and out. I just got sick with the more reliable suv

Very nice the GV 70 but I dont not like the way they just put the screen up on top of the dash such an after thought , I will stay with my GV 60 its been 18 months of pure pleasure to drive .

Looks great. The best looking SUV on the road. You appear to get a lot for the money. Reliability and build quality are still the problem with Kia/Hyundai/Genesis. Dealership network is poor and many Hyundai dealers will not touch them. Depreciation and resale value is horrific. Thick layers of lipstick on the pig. Wish that was not the case. Check Engine light right off the new car lot. Enough said and foretelling of the future.
Why is the check engine light on the entire time?
It had a service ticket in it when I took it, not sure the cause.. Sometimes happens with new cars. Not the first time I've had that happen with these videos.. It happens across the board

Why do we always have a SALESPERSON model a Genesis. "I love so-and-so" and "this is just beautiful" and "the $575 dollar color is fantastic". Who cares what a salesperson thinks. . . these guys are usually on a commission, so they HAVE TO CONVINCE US that a Genesis, in this case, is the greatest car on the road.
I won't watch these sales pitches anymore if a salesperson is modeling them.
