Agree with you all, very pleasant film. I like all the Shakespeare videos, nice landscape, well filmed and very informative. Keep going and enjoying fishing Cheers
These video's are brilliant, after a long time away from fishing I am learning new methods and skills which will hopefully make me a better angler. Many thanks for sharing these excellent films.
Cracking video and loved every minute of it. Thank you for showing the way I have always fished the River Seven tackle wise blackcap feeders, beaded swivel, quick change bead,16barbless banded/8lb,6mm pellet. Loads of anglers I see fishing to heavy carpy style trust me no need too that's my best advice.
Great Video James your a top bloke. I use to be a member of Barford Angling and as you can see from my Main youtube picture that Barbel was caught on Barford Stretch and was published in the anglers mail it was a beast of a barbel its a great stretch of river and not over fished like many popular rivers. After moving from the area I'm now fishing the River Severn at Bridgenorth and I've still not caught my 1st Barbel of the season. After watching your video i will try some of your methods thanks.
I must have watched this film at least a dozen times, its great, my type of fishing. James says he makes his halibut paste by crushing and grinding down halibut pellets, what does he use to mix it, just water?
not water just a whole egg. 1 egg will make enough paste to fill half a margarine container..just keep adding powder to the whisked egg until you get a stiff paste..
I won't be using halibut pellets anymore for barbel the halibut protein fills them up for up to 3days and the halibut oil takes up to 4 or 5 days for the liver to process with barbel been a omnivore not really that great for them.
Shakespeare fishing tv..what a totally naff reply...would it have hurt for you to give the guy a direct answer instead of making him look silly...he said he missed it in the vid..easily done..you are on here to promote products by drawing anglers in not alienate people...why should people interact with you if this is your attitude....it was also.39.08...you didn't even get that right...lost me unsubscribed
DAVID RYLEY you mean tins have no place being left on the bank. Why should a person not take tins if he is scrupulous about taking them home/disposing of them properly?
I always enjoy James' videos. Enthusiasm for the sport shines through.
Really enjoy your videos. You dont need to catch just to enjoy being on the riverbank. Lovely photography and instructional tips. Thanks.

Hi anyone got any tips for fishing the Avon in Coventry in the middle of winter?
Great video! Can anyone recommend some good beginner books on river craft

Pit bull's of the river .
Saltford is good waters for barbel
Great vid, pleasure to watch but a "progressive rod with a through action" must be some masterpiece of engineering ;)
Progressive action with fast response probably better explanation! Anyway it's a really nice rod to fish with:)
Looked very nice alright, well done, always enjoy your vids
What rod is he using?
did u watch the video?
ShakespeareFishingTV yes but I never heard him say, might just be my ears!

Nice film, but tins have no place on the bank. Meat could have been put into foil.
DAVID RYLEY you mean tins have no place being left on the bank. Why should a person not take tins if he is scrupulous about taking them home/disposing of them properly?
Nice video......we don't need the music though, spoils it for me.
