My oldest son's friend owns a Chevy volt , he is having problems with his car dying on him , he just checked the price of replacing that little car's battery , he found out it costs $10,000 to replace the battery in his car !!!! He said if he has to replace that battery , he will just get a new car !!! Now this is just an example of what will happen with these cars

In Europe they pay $8 or $9 per gallon for gasoline. Global warming will force big changes on what we use, but these price hikes are purely greed by the oil executives. Increases in price are based up rumor and go back to before the Ukraine invasion when the anticipation of invasion was hiking world oil prices. Truckers are fed up. This speed limiter law they are pushing for is the last straw for most of us left in the industry who have 25+ years in it. There is no driver shortage, it is and has been for a very long time congress placing more mandates on trucking. Small business owners are tired, rates suck, fuel prices are controled by left extremists, it happens everytime a democrat gets in office. You can not replace an industry with 6 week coursees of inexperiencied children telling them trucking will make you rich. Schooling for truck drivers is a joke, always has been, always will be

I drive an electric car. This is my second one as I was an early adopter. It serves me fine for every day commutes, but has left me stranded from time to time because of range limitations and a very poorly planned public charging infrastructure. I am fortunate to live in a house that can support a home charging station. If you live in an apartment or condo charging your car at home is unlikely to be possible. Our current power grid is certainly not ready for this shift. Congress needs to act now. No president should have the power to destroy our economy and bankrupt it's citizens.
