Superschnell Lampe! Alternativ zu Klebeverbindungen Holz-Acrylglas kann ich Silikon empfehlen. Deutlich günstiger als Epoxy und hält wie Teufel...
Danke der Schotte, davon habe ich noch nie gehört... ich nehme meist die kleinen Epoxytuben die sind nicht teuer und halten auch wirklich lange.

Interessante Idee!
Dass der Leim nicht halten wird, ist ja bereits mehrfach angemerkt. Das bringt mich aber auf die Idee, das Holz und die Acryl-Plättchen durch vier Bolzen (Schrauben) zu verbinden. Wenn man dann die Acryl-Plättchen noch 2 mm kleiner fertigt, sollte das zwangsläufige Schwinden des Holzes kaum noch auffallen.

Du hast es wieder geschafft. Kaltes Akryl mit warmem Holz sind eine wundervolle Symbiose eingegangen. Ästhetik und Technik miteinander vereint. Geil!

Really impressed how kept the wood grain consistent between the layers and adjusting the cuts to make up for the polycarbonate. Great Work!
Thank you very much! I have arbitrarily cut, but nevertheless, that it makes sense to some extent. The whole lamp lasts the epoxy together.

I love all the fancy tools and then putting in the screws with a leatherman.
This leatherman is extremely Qualitativ and Swiss made. It costs much more than an ordinary screwdriver.😉👍👍

Super schön! Eine einfache klare Form, genau das, was gutes Design ausmacht. Ich hab nur leichte Zweifel, ob der Weißleim dauerhaft auf dem Plexiglas hält. Da hätte ich vermutlich Epoxydharz verwendet.
Dankeschön gukalaro, er hält wirklich sehr gut. Nur zum sicher sein werde ich auch auf Epoxy ausweichen.

Sehr schick! Ist aber mehr Ambiente-Licht als tatsächliche Beleuchtung. Als schicker Sockel für eine (noch zu montierende) Beleuchtung aber echt sehr elegant. 👍

Beautiful piece, my only worry would be heat from the bulb as your lamp is pretty much a sealed unit thus no air flow so wouldn't it just get hotter and hotter?

I also tried this week :) I didn't have the gear to do it so i did mostly by hand. And it worked out fine. The acrylic glass was too thin so i did double layers (2x4mm). Worked out pretty fine. Going to sand it tonight and give it a nice finish tomorrow. curious about the result, but i'm pretty confident. Thanks for the instructions!! :)

I'm definitely going to make more variations in the near future. Just the metal baseplate will be wood, since i lack machines, but that's alright!
