- This is the commonest question that every patient with CKD asks. CKD is a difficult disease that progresses and invariably leads to kidney transplant. you need the best kidney doctor who can do test and diagnose the disease correctly. simple test like urine test, blood urea and creatinine and ultrasound are usually done. we should also do eGFR. You need to take medicines for kidney disease regularly and also take a kidney diet so that we can slow progression of kidney disease. If there is urine infection then treatment of UTI also helps reduce creatinine. besides good blood pressure control is the one of the most important measures. Sir, my mother who is 90 years old is diagnosed and the report shows urea is 165 and serium creatinine is 7.2 and condition is very weak, cannot sit, she is not talking, not taking food, no proper urination. Kindly advise, how to bring dow urea and serium creatinine. Is her voice not coming out because of weakness. Doctor said at this age she cannot go for Dialysis. Is it possible to cure or to bring down urea and serium creatinine with out going for Dialysis. She is not a Diabetes patient. Thank you

In my case after my renal transplant done on this last December, I noticed my diastolic pressure level is always coming up above 90 mm Hg, like 91, 91, and 93 where as my systolic pressure level is almost coming normal in value... Sir, what does it mean... Do I have to take a pressure medicine in this case.. ???

Dear Dr, my BP ranges from 150/70 to 120/58. Sometimes it is 100/60.
I'm having DM for 20 yrs, HTN, Mild prostrate. During USG of lower abdomen, an effect on kidney was found.
I'm 70 and taking Telma M 40/25 for last fortnight. Prior to that I was taking Cilicar TM 50.
I am 6 ft with 78 kgs wt pure vegetarian. Now My sugar is in range of F 100 PP Max 200, but generally 150. HbIC 6.6.
Im worried about BP, why my diastolic is generally abt 50% of Systolic and generally in range of 70.

Sir, my husband's creatinine level used to be max upto 4 since 8 to 10 years. Now during Covid time, it increased to 5.1. Now the doctor has advised dialysis with immediate effect and it is being done since 2 months, thrice in a week. Now it has come to 3.9. Will we able to come out of dialysis with some treatment.
