Special guest, Tony Award®-winning star Kelli O'Hara, joined renowned actor Richard Thomas, The Tabernacle Choir, and Orchestra at Temple Square during their 2019 Christmas Concert.
Kelli O'Hara talks about how this concert was the ultimate invitation, what goes into being a guest artist on such a large production, working with music directors Mack Wilberg and Ryan Murphy, and how her role fits with the large ensemble of musicians behind her. O'Hara also discusses how personal the message of the concert and the opportunity to perform in it is to her.
Celebrate this simple, timely message of Christmas-a message of love, selfless service, and gratitude for a Savior who brings peace. With vocalists, instrumentalists, bell ringers, dancers, the Gabriel Trumpet Ensemble, and the Cold Creek bluegrass band, these concerts were a visual and musical spectacle.

Which concert house building is shown in your Tabernacle choir videos ? I am interested from an architectural point of view, to see architectural oriented videos, photos and drawings on this concert hall. Can You give me an hint, where I can find more about it ? It's a great chorus !! Where is it ? Utah , or any where else ?

Hi Wolfgang- this is called The Conference Center at Temple Square. It is in Salt Lake City, Utah, and you can see info about it here: www.churchofjesuschrist.org/locations/temple-square-conference-center?lang=eng
Thanks for being here with us!

@@thetabernaclechoir ; Thank You for this link ! I found some architectural photos from this conference building. And I found a visitors seat number of 21.000. This is quite huge for such a beautiful meeting hall. In Europe beautiful concert halls have typically 2000 seats. This is the maximum size where music can be played without electronic amplification. The 20.000 visitors class are multifunctional roofed sports arenas, which have less beauty aspects. And football states have around 50.000 visitors. In China now new beautiful multifunctional arenas with up to 100.000 seats are build. But nowadays China bursts everything in size and modernity. The 21-century is the chineese century. I am interested in this architectural things, because I have an Idea for some educational/cultural building which would get a multifunctional culture hall with around 2500 seats. But I have no money for it. And in Corona times all cultural places like churches, concert halls, cinemas etc. are shut down. Actually the cinema branch is afraid they cannot survive this corona crises. Some drawings from my building idea is shown in my channel under "Schloss Fünfeck". My hall architecture is fairly similar to your Conference Center. But much smaller. Nice to see something like this in reality. Best Regards to Utah !
