Anne Marie's vocals are very reminiscent of Karla Devito (the original female lead). I'd have to say that Anne Marie has a slightly better range than Devito with the latter a stronger alto singer. These guys just hit on all cylinders. PLEASE SOMEONE SIGN THIS BAND TO A CONTRACT!
Actually, the original female lead was Ellen Foley. Karla Devito is in the video and was in the touring band.
Yup. That's right. Ellen Foley sung on the album only. She was not in the video nor did she tour with Meatloaf. Ellen released some albums of her own back in the day. She had a fantastic voice.
She was also on Night Court! And I think she was on Joe Jackson's "Body and Soul" Album. Very unique voice.

the harmony on the second "i can see paradise" is out of this world amazing. it is very hard to hear it, but man when you really listen to it, it is better than the original. Just a little something that i thought put this version at the very top. thank you

Actually Ellen Foley did the vocals on the record, Karla did the vocals on the first tour. From a dyed in the wool Meatloaf fan, you all did a great job. Lots of talent.
