I deleted my Instagram account (along with other social media accounts) and the app on my phone around 2020 and I’ve never looked back since. It’s been over a year and I’ve felt happier ever since ❤️

im just so glad youre from the generation that can absolutely appreciate going without browser technology... the value you get discovering yourself/the world through yourself can become some of the most fascinating organic value you may discover.... I found a good middle with not following so many people, i never liked the idea of that...
Just deleted my Instagram today. Deleting everything you've built for years feels like committing suicide in a way, but with healthy benefits rather than fatal consequences. I only ever used it to look at trendy stuff and waste time. It was one of the many things distracting me from the real matters of my life, which is right now finding a suitable position for my career. I don't care if people start thinking I'm dead, because they rarely contact me anyway. Good riddance.

Totally agree though, reduction of contact with social media (through screen timers locking apps for myself personally) has been a huge positive.

Same too , i just get my 18k account that i post only arts on it , after 5y of hard working and so i be losing all of that by a perma ban haha funny but it's a good riddance fr im done with living on my phone
