- In this video I show some insight on the steps I took to create this huge resin bar top. I list materials used along with some of my best practices I use the most.
Material List / Steps
Step 1 - Coat plywood w/ gen. table top epoxy
SAND / CLEAN
Step 2 - Mix pigments into your TT 804 Epoxy. Pour and get the bar covered!
SAND / CLEAN
Step 3 - Mix up a few buckets at a time here. This is the wave layer so you will need your base color and white. Use a strong heat gun to move your white pigment into the base layer.
SAND / CLEAN
Step 4 - Repeat Step 3 :)
SAND / CLEAN
Step 5/6 - Fill in all of your wave gaps and get your bar flat with the TT804. Leave it clear and a few coats will make this bar strong!

Great table mate, I may have missed it but what grit sand paper are you using between coats

Where could I find those stickers, they’re a great addition
I don't use the stickers anymore I use rice paper prints. you can find them on my etsy store. #saltyresin
Did you seal both sides of the wood?
Absolutely! singer seal coat on the bottom is always my first step
Can this be used poolside no shade hot Texas sun ???
No definitely not! a few customers have shades / fitted covers to protect.
How do i order?
#GOALS!! Question... How do you deal with the edges?
I'm about to do an outside bar too so I'm wondering what temperature should I shoot for day/night
@@lisamaginnis8313 SHOOT FOR THE COOLEST PART OF THE DAY. You want it to be around 75 degrees. It was definitely too hot when I poured this one.
@@saltyresin543 I've started and I'm loving it. I'm ready to do my flood coat but before I do, I feel like I could use a few more waves. Is it possible to add waves without doing an entire epoxy layer?? (I'll share my pix if possible)
There is no right or wrong way! You can make as many waves as you want. Just make sure to sand between each layer and fill it in with clear if you want it to be flat!
Where can I purchase the fish decals?
I have a new style up on my etsy!
