Yep. Literally the best gadget in the game and most youtubers just refuse to read what it does.
On a map with limited resources on a run that takes longer than most - pretty much best case scenario in favor of using the resource converter.
@@sirkana on prestige and maybe for runs like this it’s probably the best but I wouldn’t say it is in general. Condenser combined with repellant is really strong and competes with converter for the infinite resources. On normal runs I’d say teleporter is also a contender because of how much time it saves going all the way down and carrying resources up

I think a CZcamsr named sifd did this months ago when the game was still a demo
The converter can convert 1 square to 5 squares when upgraded, you should research it a bit. Plus, after upgrades, it can be significantly faster
Iron duplication can’t be sped up unfortunately. Pretty sure the upgrades make the processes slower but twice as efficient
Please do an endless game mode if there is I would love to see maxed out upgrades and optimal recourse collection.
Interesting that you picked the teleporter over the bomb, I would think that the bomb would help you clear all the blocks faster. Amazing video nonetheless, keep up the entertaining content !

The converter isn't really all that bad, it's completely free resources after all. just slow
Love it when someone hurriedly buys an upgrade, doesn't take the time to really read the description (AND THE HOW IT WORKS) in full, then tries to use it and goes "Doesn't work, seems bad" xD

Upgrade max health as fast as possible, it heals you, too. No need to heal separately if you can just upgrade ;(

I mines everything in the large honestly much easier than the small one as you have more resources
The developers of this game are too scared to make things strong and it's a bit of a shame. So many things absolutely suck from the tree to multiple relics.
To be fair, the elevator was bonkers in the demo
Yeah, like he took drillbert in one of the videos and it mined a total of like 8 blocks over 5 rounds. Some upgrades/relic seem like total garbage in that sense
The only relics I look for are lift or teleporter (teleporter preferred as its portable and much faster at transferring yourself and resource in and out of the mine) and stun laser (useful in combat, even un-upgraded can clear the small monsters very fast).
Resource converter is useful mainly for duplicating iron but its so slow with no speed upgrade. Probe is useless if you strip mine anyway. Bomb charges require so much resource investment to be useful and by the time they are, drilling is just more convenient. Drillbert is hard to keep track off imo but also is just slow and requires too much maintenance for an “automatic” miner. Condenser is kinda useful for water (since water is required for gadgets and overclocking) and has good automation upgrades which make it require little to no maintenance, the main issue for me is that I don’t find overclocked gadgets to be all that useful so investing resources for a water printer when I could have had a different gadget is kinda meh.
@@cahan557 Drillberts upgrades are pretty cheap, I had some success getting speed for me and upgrading his drill and treats, then let him do most of the strip mining
@@williamwolfe962 I dont know. From my experience with him, even with the cheaper upgrades, he still doesn’t provide as much value as the same resources in a gadget like a lift or teleporter

Wouldnt you want to dig normally and upgrade quickly so you can mine the layers more efficiently? And sweep the room at the end?
