I gotta say the whole "illegal quirk use" is like super bullshit. Telling a guy with wings he can't fly, and can't then fly a cat out of a tree? GTFO
Yeah it's annoying especially the whole No quirk use even when There's a villain mugging someone like Anyone can be a superhero but no It's illegal
It makes kinda some sense since anybody can be an idiot and I imagine bird guy crashing into a building because he got drunk or he was just to tired that day is something the goverment doesn't want to happen.
Like I agree... Mostly. But we literally saw the consenquences of un-trained and un-allowed quirk use in Gentle's backstory when he paralized a incoming hero and killed a innocent person.
When your entire society is filled with trained and semi compatent heroes then its better to just leave it to the then use a quirk which might not even work, resulting in an accident or further escalation with the criminal in question.
3 years late lmao but it's actually only illegal to use them for offensive means, like how Deku, Iida and Todoroki attacked Stain, but people can still use their Quirks in their everyday life without repercussion as long as they ain't causing problems for anyone
@@atmkujo No, they have a law that pretty much says that any Quirk use "in public" is illegal. There are actually provisions for self defense, apparently, but considering the Stain incident, I don't know for sure.
@@lightsidesoul I just checked a note Hori left in volume 9, and it's actually that there is a law that prohibits any use of Quirks in public, but it's kinda been forgotten and people can just do it without repercussions. However, they only get into trouble if their usage of their Quirk is bothersome or harmful to others, as I said (kinda like the sayng "my freedom ends when the freedom of others begins"). As for the self defense thing, apparently you only have the right to use your Quirk to defend yourself and not to retaliate against your attacker (which is kinda bullshit but I digress)
Licenses can be suspended, as stated by Naomasa when looking at one villain that Knuckleduster beat up, stating that that kind of brutal damage on a villain can get their licenses suspended for months. This means that depending on the actions of heroes, they CAN revoke someone's hero licenses as well. Under normal circumstances, Endeavor's abuse of his family being exposed oughta mean that his hero license is revoked due to the backlash from the exposure, but due to the fact that the country is falling apart, they're unlikely to do that until the chaos is settled.
I believe that Queen Bee and the bees DO feed off of their hosts. Remember that various people were literally dead with bees around them. Several people also act as temporary hosts as well, like that one girl that was friends with Queen Bee and then went missing as noted by another friend.
Given that Captain Celebrity was banished from America and was able to work in Japan, and how he did sort of rebrand, then odds are, you can rebrand.
A point on the queen bee thing. The bees don't have to feed on the host. They just have to feed on someone else so they can keep the current host.
@@RaulDiaz-mp8ms Likely other people, like all those corpses we saw around Queen Bee. Perhaps that's how the Queen Bee produces more Bees.
What would happen if two people both had shinzo's quirk and then tried to mind control each other. would they do some sort of freaky Friday stuff but now they can only very basic movements
They can try it with Monoma 😂
It's probably going to be both of them getting turned into zombies until the quirk stops.
It depends on who talks first. The first guy has the advantage because the second can't use his quirk without talking and putting himself under mind control. If they said it at the same time, then went for the jinx they're both screwed

"Does being a hero not pay well?'' Looking at the job market now and the fact that boku no hero academia is based around our year (or maybe even a little bit in to the future), oversaturation of people with hero license, hero agency on every corner and glamour surrounding hero's job by every kid the answer is simple.
Hero licensing is the massage therapy license of that universe. It sounds cool until you realize the market is oversaturated, the pay is crap for 90%, and the work isn't as great as you pictured. 😂😜
@@healinggrounds19 it's much worst you work like a firefighter but the fire tries to kill you and yeah crap pay

@JOSHUA Lopes Ortega That was going to be my response and yeah, a lot of people thought it would just be called “My Hero” after the chapter “Final Act” came out.
About Eri: Overhaul literally used her blood for quirk removal bullets, so yeah, she can erase quircks.
Damn, that would be pretty useful for police: You committed a big crime? *POP*, no more quirk for you.
Yeah, but I see there being a lot of outcry against it with how normalized quirks are as a part of a person and giving the cops the right to remove a quirk could be seen as equivalently as barbaric as the practice of cutting the hands off of thieves. Also, the cases that would pop up of the police arresting innocent people and removing their quirks. I can see the people being convinced that the government is having the police targeting powerful quirk users outside the hero system to weaken the general populus.

His purpose was to teach us not to point the villain when nobody else is around
He was the classic "Tragic death of a character who always talks about how much he loves his family" cliche
@@Bet_On_Me I hear he was related to Slip and Go from the actual manga so I guess they wanted to throw in a disposable character to expand his character a bit more since we knew very little about him
Ar 1:40 you are actually right. Some people only get their hero license so they can legally use their quirk for other things. Its implied that was a contributing factor for uraraka becoming a hero (in the beginning). Another big example of it is the mushroom girl from 1-B, she wants to be an idol and is only planning on using her hero licence to help promote her brand (ie she will be a hero for a few years to build a fan base as she slowly transitions over to the music industry).
Mushroom girl followed Pop Step's example
Nothing to do with legalities. Uraraka wanted to get money from the hero job and possibly advertise her parent's company while at it and the latter is just a publicity thing. I don't know the bureaucratic details, but you are allowed to use your quirks in regular jobs. If Mountain Lady hadn't become a hero she would be working in Hokkaido as a cow lifter. Amajiki flashback also had him and Mirio do a quirk aptitude test back in middle school.

You know that last one is actually something of a theory going around. Like, Horikoshi's talking a lot lately how MHA is approaching it's ending soon, but there is just...so much still going on that's no where close to it's resolution. So some people think he's ending My Hero Academia to start a continuation series with a new name like My Hero...Revolution or something; y'know like DBZ, Naruto Shippuden, or dozens & dozens of comic books have done.
Could Eri rewind Shirakumo back to life/ Could Eri undo the affects of being turned into a nomu

The first rule of BNHA theories is don't think about Eri because you're gonna start to question literally everything
Hard to do that when Eri takes all the attention every time she shows up!
Eri is not all powerful. She has to wait for her quirk to store up power in her horn, and when released can only rewind to a certain extent before having to wait again. Literally took 6 in story months to store enough power to rewind mirio. Now she has to wait again before she can use it again.

That Eri question was interesting, I could totally see that being how My Hero ends. Just like in the Overhaul fight, Eri is piggybacking on Deku using her quirk to just erase All for One's powers
I think she needs to be real close or have contact with you to have it work. It would be incredibly irresponsible to bring a child of her age anywhere near him. I definitely don't think Aizawa would allow it.
though it all for one got Eris quirk then... well... the end i guess. no coming back from that one.
@@wolfman6696 Plus it would probably take too long considering how old AFO is (over 100 y/o). He’d have plenty of time to just take her out before she could manage to reverse his quirk.
@@Phoenix.L.M Yea I realized that earlier as well. It's just too dangerous and sketchy of a plan to bet a child's life on.
Eri would be best person to be the next successor for OFA because she can basically heal herself before the wound even happens. Then she could beat All for one because if eri went after him now she'd probably have her qurik taken away.
Minetas quirk wouldn't work anymore, cause his quirk is linked with his health and how is at the time
That is a hilarious point
@@ddchrw why???
Actually it's aboit how he feels health-wise when he detachs the ball, meaning it would still stick after his death for a bit of time
Wang Fire should probably go see a doctor to get that cleared up.
I think the effects of quirks lasting after death depend on what they are. Mineta's balls were stated to have a time limit before they wear-off, depending on how he is feeling. I assume that is how he is feeling when he made them and even if he dies that wouldn't effect the ones he already released. The same goes for Sero's tape. The way I figure it unless you have some sort of remote control on the items you produce they would keep working after you die. You can't expect Shoto or Dabi's fire to go out if they died after setting a forest or building on fire after all. In the case of Midnight her quirk might be like her sweat and she would stop producing it when she dies.
*Spoiler for season 6 of the anime!*

One of Twice's clones survived the original's death, but didn't last very long. He had spend quite some time worried that he was a clone or not, as he couldn't be sure, until he survived enough damage to kill a clone. It seems in his cause the lose of the original does effect what he produced. That said his clones have always had an effect on him, as he could only produce two copies at a time and couldn't make a new clone until one of the old ones was destroyed. This implies he maintains some sort of connection to the copies.
So if there’s a quirk that’s completely disconnected from the user’s life, like a lightning ball that hovers 1 meter away from the person at all times, would the corpse be considered a weapon?

I say fallen because not only the hero society itself has started to fall, several heroes have fallen, and our (arguably) main character has fallen from grace.
That one's cool actually
Pretty sure the business card thing is just Japanese culture. They quite literally treat them as fragments of someone's soul (the reason why has now been lost on me)
3:28 seeing as how a quirk is tied to a person and gets stronger depending on how they train with it, I'm pretty sure the quirk would stop functioning if the user was brain dead or something.
3:58 WAIT A MINUTE YOUR ONTO SOMETHING HERE
XD love how you made it black and white for the manga version
From 3:16 to 3:27, I agree with Wazy on that. Surely a kid nearly dying would prioritise MORE than some rule on using Quirks in public! And I'm also pretty sure there are some Pro Heroes who feel the same way.
Everyone would agree, but sadly that's how quirks and heroism work in that universe, only pros can use them to save people and anyone else that tries it will get penalized. Heck, if it wasn't for Endeavor being around during the whole Stain incident to take credit for it, they mentioned that Lida, Todoroki and Deku would have gotten an actual criminal record. Gentle's case is probably the reason why this rule exist in the first place, because people with no training using their powers end up doing in the long run more harm than good.
Question: If EraserHead stares into a mirror and uses his quirk on himself does his quirk just nope of existence or like does it just implode the universe Cause he is using his own quirk to get rid of the quirk and now his quirk is gone so he can’t blink and get it back, Also if (I forgot his name) so I’ll just call him the rude guy from class 1-B uses his copy quirk on all for one does he now have the ability to copy more quirks and if does steal a quirk after the time period does he still have the ones he stole or do they just like get brought back and if he uses it to steal one for all’s quirk does he just like..

In Japan, a business card is basically treated as your identity. If you receive a business card and chuck it out or just stash it in your pocket real quick, it's as if you're doing that to the person themselves. Business cards are a big thing in Japan, so yeah.

3:45 Eri restored Mirio's quirk and.... All for one part is not only theory
I think the government pays hero’s since they are basically the military but with powers. It makes even more sense because the schools are payed by the government. The side jobs make sense too since people who are under the top 100 after a year may be cut from their jobs. Also we do know that the rank is given for how they impact the community, and the crimes they stop. This is what sets all might a league above endeavor, All might is just to inspirational to not be the number 1 hero

Mineta's quirk works depending on how good he feels. They'll stick up to a day when he feels good, but less if bad. If he's dead I assume they would stop working.
2:51 THE SHIRT-
So,ain't we talking that all might has a FREAKING BATMOBILE?!?!
Love this video and now I need to figure out which vigilantes volume I was on
Deku already has a hero license, technically he isn't a vigilante, i guess that would all depend on if a hero agency takes him.
I wonder how Deku is doing now. Like, does his mum know he dropped out? How is he living? Does he live with her or?- How is he making money?
Deku's father gives him money for living.(both the biological one AND All Might)
That Wang Fire joke nearly killed me, my lungs hurt
“Wang Fire” yes the gods have blessed my ears...

If what, 80% of the population has a quirk then the market value of quirks is rather low unless, I don't know you make the use of quirks Illegal or something. So yes Toxi, the point of being a hero is so you can use your quirk to make money.
Underrated youtuber
