Actually his biological mother abandoned him in an Orphanage. This man struggled as a youth and was incarcerated for a crime he didn’t commit. When he became famous he reconnected with his mother and forgave her. It’s amazing that he wrote this song for her as if she was good to him. What an honorable man.
Yeah but sometimes you have to see things for what they are we honestly don't know why she left him there but honestly in Mexico back in those days starving to death was real she probably thought he'd at least be fed there like I said hard to criticize his mom and since made up with her I assume he probably understood her reasons lol Mexico was alot harder back then
@@josemadera3138 I disagree 100%. My moms was homeless and with a daughter when she crossed the Rio Grande in Juarez. She made it to Los Angeles by herself with a 1 year old baby girl and never once thought of giving her baby to an Orphanage.
@@tonysoto8949 good for ur mom not everyone had the same experience not everyone had the same situation or opportunity I doubt ur mom came alone or she would have starved or ur sister would have starved somewhere down the the road she got a hand but again u don't know what his mom was going through to decide to leave him at an orphanage
I lost my wife of 27 years and this song is both beautiful and a gut wrenching experience. This song was one of her favorites because of when she lost her mother. Now it means something to me. It’s been 5 years since I lost her and today is actually her birthday. I still tell her how much I love her every day.
You’ll see her someday. Soon. In paradise. You’ll be able to reach out and touch her. As sure as the sun sets and rises every day, recall these words. Keep your heart and eyes open to the wonderful promises our Creator has promised to wonderful, meek people like yourself. Much love to you. ❤

I couldn't stop crying 😢 I lost my mom a year ago and his lyrics and your emotional reaction really hit me hard. I needed this cry, it really helps. Love you Aileen.
I love that the younger generations are way more in touch with and embracing their heritage< in my school days there were way too many people embarrassed to say that they were Mexican when in reality you cannot hide who you are and where you came from, love your reaction beautiful princess and I know your parents are proud of you and taught you well :)
I am 71 and grew up in a time where we would even be reprimanded for speaking Spanish in school. It wasn't in most cases being embarrassed to be Mexican American. It was the outright discrimination.
I feel this soo much. Growing up I hated wearing gold jewelry because I thought it made me look "too mexican" and I didnt like to look that way. Im 31 one and embracing how beautifully my brown skin is complimented by gold pieces. My mother always wore gold, she passed away when I was 11.
I love my heritage and where I came from. Proud to be American but also very proud to be Mexican. I love being Mexican! Powerful song, I miss my papa. I miss you old man! Love you bro.
I’ve watched dozens of your videos and this is the first time I’ve cried. First time I’ve cried to any reaction video, actually. I’m half Mexican, on my father’s side. When he sang "El más triste recuerdo de Acapulco (the saddest memory from Acapulco)"is because as he was finishing a concert in that city he received the notice that his mother passed away, so there you have, his saddest memory from Acapulco. Althoug his mother abandoned him in an orphanage, and didn't love him, he did, and forgive her, so to come to think that even when he could be resentful towards her, he still compossed a crying song, a llulaby for her. You can also hear the lullaby in the chorus on the background, the humming is like a mother humming a lullaby to his son. For me this is the most beautiful song ever written
My mom plays this song every year on the anniversary of my older brothers death. It holds such a special place in my heart. What I love about us metal heads, is that we can appreciate different forms of music.
Juan Gabriel was one of my mom’s favorite singers. She asked me to buy her this concert Juan Gabriel en el Palacio de Bellas Artes once in CD and at least twice in DVD. Since my mom’s passing I’ve heard this song hundreds of times. Every one of her birthdays, mother’s days, anniversary of her passing or when I think of her. I’ve watched dozens of reaction videos and I really appreciate yours. Thank you.🙏
This is my first time hearing this version of this beautiful song. I'm used to the Rocio Durcal version. That was my late mother's funeral song & hearing this classic always gets me emotional. Thank you for sharing your innermost feelings my dear. May you & your family be blessed.

I Do Love you !! Thanks for doing this videos , Juan Gabriel is a big part of Juarez !! He is one of the greatest composer !! He ONLY sings what he Writes !! He is so Unique !!
Thank you Aileen! Love this song! Juan G was a master at pulling at your hear strings. Enjoy your mother while you have her. Time goes so fast. Great heart-felt reaction. I’m loving this journey you are on now.
This song may just be my favorite song from Juan Gabriel. It was the first song I remember listening to as a kid with my grandfather. When they played it during his funeral two years back, it broke me. There’s a bittersweet feeling listening to it now, but it is still something that connects me to my loved ones.
Music touches our hearts and souls emotionally, where words alone sometimes can't. It gives our soul wings, flight to our imagination, and the joy of life. There's magic in the music; we need it like we need the air we breathe or the food we eat. Humans have made music since the beginning of time. Every culture, race, and continent has music. Spanish music has a profound beauty. I fell under its spell and fell in love with the sounds of flamenco guitar and the art of flamenco dancing while in Spain. I love hearing new songs (to me) like Amor Eterno - thank you for sharing the music with us all.
I was listening and crying to this song thinking about my grandma who recently passed away, and watching your heartfelt reaction feels cathartic. Thank you
Juarez in the house - yes! I was born and raised in sister city El Paso, and of course Juan Gabriel is a legend in these parts, and deservedly so. I'm always awe-struck by the depth of his talent; he wrote/composed hits for so many other artists (and of course himself), played multiple instruments, and had a voice that had tremendous range and power, but most importantly, was unabashedly emotional and romantic. He led with his heart, no apologies. To top it off, he gave back so much to orphaned children, having been one himself. One of a kind. RIP.
I love to see how your eyes react to the lyrics as you hear them. You're a treasure, rich with emotions! I hope your mom has seen this reaction video and knows that you miss her. If she hasn't, someone should forward it to her. You're a great person to recognize her. I don't know if you're a mother, but if you are, you'll understand. God bless you.
😭 took a wrong turn in this rabbit hole. However it’s a beautiful reminder how music, melodies, lyrics , can impact the core of a human being. Bravo amiga for for sharing your emotions with all of us. The man was amazing . My mom’s favorite artist .

That, English speaking folks is a clear representation of the beauty of the Spanish language! One if not the most romantic language in the world! Spanish is so rich! Proud of my roots and language! Wouldn't trade it not even for all the money in the world! Juan Gabriel was a gift to the world and his voice is so rich and nostalgic, it would even make a dog, cow etc cry non stop! Lol... Bravo! 👏👏👏

Wow! I love your heartfelt reaction. I had no idea you are from Juarez! I've lived in the El Paso/Las Cruces area since 1992. People here still honor "El Divo de Juarez." Just two weeks ago the city held the Juárez Juangabrielísimo festival on the anniversary of his death. God bless you,
Que hermosa eres. Aside from that I was lucky to see him in concert. Hard to explain but I had never felt so many strong emotions as I did that magical evening. Definitely one of the greatest.
I love that song even though it saddens me. I've listened to it so much, that I don't cry that often anymore, but I do always feel that knot in my throat... it's impossible to not feel something. And don't be sorry that it got to you. Specially being latina and in touch with your roots. You can be a rocker, a rapper, ect... Mexican music will always be with you. Specially someone as special as Juan Gabriel. But I've probably seen like 30 reactions to this specific song, and its rare seeing someone not break down. Couple of the people that didn't cry, weren't really paying attention to the melody or lyrics. You did great.

I wasn't expecting this, i didn't know you are latina.
Juan Gabriel's Abrazame Muy Fuerte is just beautiful..!! plus Pink Floyds "A Great Day for Freedom" that guitar solo will unlock the deepest corners of your soul!!!
I don't understand spanish, but I could feel it and your reaction had me tearing up. Wow! Powerful
And damn did it hit. I haven’t lost my own mom pero I was there when both of my grandmas passed, I watched both of my parents lose their moms and it was heartbreaking. Esta canción me trae todos los recuerdos as if it just happened yesterday. I loved your reaction, filled with true and honest emotion. I reacted the same way, knowing that someday this is something I will go through as well.
I’m a 39 year old dude and when I hear Juan Gabriel sing this song my eyes get soft EVERY SINGLE TIME. 😢
This song is deeply sad, especially for anyone who has lost their mother.
All Juan Gabriel's songs are very good, they are a piece of art.
Music touches our hearts and souls emotionally, where words alone sometimes can't. It gives our soul wings, flight to our imagination,
and the joy of life. There's magic in the music; we need it like we need the air we breathe or the food we eat. Humans have made music
since the beginning of time. Every culture, race, and continent has music. Spanish music has a profound beauty. I fell under its spell
and fell in love with the sounds of flamenco guitar and the art of flamenco dancing while in Spain. I love hearing new songs (to me) like
Amor Eterno - thank you for sharing the music with us all.
RIP.
I bawl my eyes out every time I hear this song. Reminds me of my Buelita
El Paso here!!!! my wife and i took my mom and aunt to see Juan back in the early 2000's.....

Don't apologize for pausing the video and reacting, in the title you tell us it's a reaction and we hope to see that. I have known this song since I was very little and, through your experience, it is a renewed joy and at the same time emotional. Thank you!! ❤️
I’ve heard this song over 100+ times and I still shed so many tears through out this song. He sings from the heart and anyone who hears this song sheds some tears. Super powerful.
wonderful how you respond to this song. With a lot of emotion. Underneath we love you so much because you just let your emotions go and not acting but pure emotion👌🏼
This always reminds me of my grandmother and learning this song on guitar and played it with family when she passed. 🖤

CRYING CLEANSES THE SOUL FROM IMPURITIES SWEETIE.🫶🫶🫶🤙😎
Same. I grew up captivated by Deftones and other bands alike. I've only recently been really getting a grip on the music my mom and family would jam on. All from Juarez swell. They now reside in New Mexico. I loved this reaction!!
I really agree with what you said at the start. His music does feel like family and like a hug 😢❤ thank you for reacting I cried with you 💔
That, English speaking folks is a clear representation of the beauty of the Spanish language! Lol... Bravo! 👏👏👏
Juan Gabriel is a legend! El Divo de Juárez RIP🙏 Best reaction on CZcams hands down!

My mother sang this to my grandmother as we sat by her side while she passed from cancer. It’s was beautiful.
Juan Gabriel is the best latin singer is so emotional, his songs will always live in our hearts.
Ok. I've seeing this son many times, but I've cried with you today. Next time do not hold your tears, seeing your soul and feelings is beautiful. Really really revommend to watch the movie series about his history... Saludos desde Costa Rica
Greetings from Las Vegas. i was born and raised in El Paso. saw so many heavy metal concerts as a kid in chuco. I'm 52 years now. new subscriber. cheers.
I remember the day he passed he was supposed to perform here in El Paso. The tragedy of his life definitely reflected in his compositions.
One of the most epic love songs for mother ever. This song is so deep. It takes you to when you were a child, yearning for your mothers embrace. So deep
Unidos seremos mejores. Un español.
Awesome reaction thank you for sharing and interpreting classic beautiful song

This shit hits the soul for sure! If your eyes dont get watery or cry when you hear this, its clear you not understanding what the lyrics are saying. Much love beautiful.
