After Javi, David, and Kate find Clem and Gabe, they go into a nearby building for shelter. Inside, there are Richmond survivors. Kate expresses that she feels guilty for what happened to the people of Richmond, since her van struck the wall and caused walkers to enter Richmond. They walk into a room and find Eleanor treating a patient named Fern. Depending on the players choices, her husband Rufus will be there as well if you chose to spare him in "Ties That Bind - Part 1". Fern says she lost her daughter in all the chaos and that Rufus got bitten.
After Kate offers to help Fern, the latter points a gun at Javi, accusing him of being responsible for the chaos, whether you shot Joan or not. As Javier tries to convince Fern to put the gun down, Kate stands in front of the gun, taking the blame for the chaos and Fern's daughter's death. As Fern considers lowering the gun, David runs forward, takes the gun, breaks Fern's arm, shoots Rufus in the head if you had spared him previously and almost kills Fern before Gabe stops him. Everyone is shocked by this, and they start walking away from him. David admits he's alone on this and goes on the roof, angry. walkingdead.wikia.com...

@@skyfaller3d417 cap. Eleanor was hung up about Javi shooting Conrad more than anything; and that was totally understandable. Conrad had lost his mind pretty much - holding Clem hostage and wanting to trade her life away to get entry.
Funnily enough, Javi is one of the few reasonable characters in the new frontier. Almost everyone else are idiots or hypocrites who blame others for their mistakes.

It was because she was calming down and he just used it to break her arm, this wasn't defending his drother this was just acting, before thinking.

He could've just disarmed Fern and emptied the bullet out. There was no need for David to break her arm since she was never going to shoot at all. And besides, the poor woman was already hurting from losing her husband and child. Like how devastated Kenny was when he lost his wife and kid in season 1.

That's why she's wounded because you fire back at her, hit her in the shoulder and she runs off. She was literally a lackey of Joan anyway lmao. Don't see any reason to feel sorry for her.

Breaking her arm was so overboard, she was literally about to put the gun away and he could’ve easily disarmed her without breaking it, also Rufus wasn’t about to turn, he could’ve given him a nicer send off

@@Chops-ul5rqeveryone will freaking out yes but since this is Fern's situation he was pointing the gun at Javi until Kate steppeds in and told her it was her fault that her daughter is killed and Rufus got bit (via your choices) 4:04 you could see her arm was shivering, David could've take the gun peacefully instead of breaking her arm. Like how Lee did when Vernon pointing the gun at him Lee was just took the gun peacefully and carefully without breaking his arm.

If you didn’t shoot rufus he lays on a couch with his wife and dies whether you try to save him or not. So that’s what Gabe meant by “that dead guy”
Gabe was trying to defend certain people in the game saying you don't have to kill/hurt them, yet it's cool to kill Conrad and if you do he snitches on you on episode four and if you don't he'll call you a "fucking coward". Gabe is one the most liked and at the same time hated characters in this series so far.
Also I hope Elenore dies in season 4 if she makes an appearance

This was the one scene where I liked and supported David's decision to break her arm. Nobody pulls a gun to Javier's face like that especially for an expended period of time. Fern was obviously dealing with her own issues and grief it had nothing to do with Javier regardless of Rufus's fate. And I hate forced confrontation scenes like this just for the sake of some added layer of forced drama for this season. Javier was the last person who deserved that nonsensical bullshit and didn't have to apologize for anything. They should be thanking him for sorting out their leadership problems. Gabe is such a whiny brat like always that's no surprise that he does something stupid here and tries to be "heroic" when all he is a coward with no brain cells.
Yes she's pointing the gun at Javi but she was gonna threaten Javi until Kate comes in 3:39 and implied that it was her fault that she got her daughter killed and she wasn't gonna shot at them you could see in 4:05 her arm was shivering. David could've take the gun out of her hand instead of break her arm, like how Lee did with Vernon when he was pointing the gun at him and Lee took the gun from his hand peacefully without breaking his arm.
Biggest issue when you have millennial writers trying to impose their values in a world where it’s kill or be killed. Sad portrayal of us Hispanics. You have the waste of a son Gabriel. The useless wife Kate. Javi of the group has potential. Clem is good. The rest are useless.

If I want to be honest, I am angry at Eleanor for screwing Javi's crew over with Joan but I can't fully blame her for her actions. Eleanor did not know the full extent that Joan caused Prescott's downfall and, since she was well accepted by the community in Richmond, she have some reason to doubt Javi's claims. This also caused Eleanor to believe that she would be able to talk with Joan peacefully about the situation and she also did not realise that her actions would cause Tripp to potentially die, though she is wrong to blame Javi for that in the first place. I understand if you don't want to forgive Eleanor for what she did and I don't blame you for that too.
