Bed bugs can spread very fast, I got them from my neighbor one time and it was hell but I got rid of them by using 90% rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle. All my clothes went to the dry cleaner and my mattress went in the trash! I mopped the floor with some bleach, water and alcohol mix. Bed bugs can literally make you go crazy because you won’t see them but you’ll wake up with 20 bites all over your body! It’s disgusting! If I ever wanted to mess with someone I didn’t like I would find bed bugs and put them in their home lol.

yes, I have watched this ratting channel, and the little dogs ( Terriers ) were so fast, very agile indeed. they had no mink with them, and they were just 5 of them, (2 adults and 3 pups ) and they caught hundreds of rats, like 200, 400+. the humans were not even grabbing/hunting rats, they were just there guiding, and helping dogs, by removing any obstacle, digging the hide out of rats, flushing them out, and of course to cheer for the dogs. It was very impressive. The dogs were brave, very fast, precise. Rats had no way of escape. A dooms day for rats literally.

So true what you said about cats. I've had very good barn cats that would pursue and kill anything from as small as a fly to foxes, but they're rare. Only really works if they live fully out of the house and you've trained them. Most cats love hunting as a form of play and will not kill & eat most of what the catch, especially not the more aggressive prey. They do still act as a deterrent to pests but unless they're killing them too it's really not worth the effects they have on wildlife. Not to mention how outdoor cats have significantly shorter lifespans than indoor cats. Unless the cat is doing a job as a trained mouser, it should be inside, for the sake of wildlife & the cat's health.

Longtime viewer of @Twin Home Experts. I have a fascia breach near my chimney due to the 30" of rain from Hurricane Ian. It was just the soffitt at first (they ate through the aluminum. Now one has gotten into the attic back part where neither humans not dogs can get. My terriers were going nuts all night long. After dusk I am going to plug up the hole, put electronic trap. I am just leary of luring them over the garage because there are so man contents there as I work to rebuild the home

Really not proud to admit that I lived like a hoarder for a bit. Hated every minute of it, but had no idea where to even start so it just sat longer. It’s been a few years since that terrible time in my life and I’m truly grateful I live in a clean and organized home. Looking back on it I’m absolutely amazed I didn’t have any pest problems myself.

The amazing thing i find about watching hoarding cleanups is you gradually start to see what this person's life looked like before their hoarding problem took over, a bed, dresser, chair and other furniture purposely placed, under trash and debris.
Like digging up a time capsule.

This clutter makes it very hard to eradicate the rat problem. This home needs two dumpsters to haul it all out!

We had 2 other cats and they never caught a thing. Now have a cat that catches anything the moves birds, lizards, rats, frogs, bats, etc anything that moves.

I can actually say that you are very much right on cats being more likely to catch things that don't fight back. There are some moments when I have seen cats take out aggressive prey like a stoat and a rat, but it is very uncommon. Even something like a young magpie, my cats will swat at it but not try to kill it for it is so aggressive.
