  • You don't need a gym to build a muscular v-taper back. Using resistance bands and the right exercises you can get the same results at home as you would in the gym with weights. Here are 3 of James Grage's favorite resistance band back exercises that you can do anywhere, including at home, to build a bigger, wider and stronger back.

I don't know but for some reason after performing the bent over rows i felt a lot more stress on my lower back rather than my upper back .I also checked my form in the mirror which seemed fine. I still can't find the reason.

I really love how you make sure to speak slowly and to enunciate clearly, and use no music. It helps a lot when English is not one's native language, more so when learning a lot of new terms. One thing making getting into fitness hard for me as an absolute beginner is not understanding all the jargon yet. And at my age, learning simply is harder than it was when I was 20.
Loved the tip to try an exercise the wrong and right ways first to feel the difference, that will really help in learning all those moves, which for a beginner can be overwhelming.
Also, your style makes it easier for me, as an autist, to stay focused. So, thank you for not rushing, thank you for not being loud, thank you for keeping distraction to a minimum.

I live in a small apartment on the second floor. Having 2000-4000 pounds of weights up here is out of the question. But, resistance bands, yeah... I can do that. I've been using bands for nine months, and I've gained more muscles with them in that time span than I have with weights in the past 43 yrs. I've received more insight from your research on bands that have aided me in my weight training. I appreciate the time you put into you videos, and look forward to seeing more in the future. Keep up the good work... and thanks.

@@tarreemhacaruso2687 i really enjoy them. Been working out for about 20 years, and these are a very functional way of training. I feel like bands workout the tendons and ligaments in a way most other routines cannot. Its very cost effective also. I have noticed that i have a lot more energy and speed, over doing something like heavy sandbags that would have me exhausted for a few days. If you are not into the idea of bands you could try indian clubs, sandbags, mace, or kettlebells for an alternative for home workouts, they all have pros and cons depending on your goals. For those sorts of things i usually go to onnit.com but i have been on straight bands since nov 1st and have no complaints. Shipping is way way cheaper for bands over stuff like kettlebells.

I decided last month to start working out and my body has started changing immediately. But my workouts are wiping me out. Plus I get bored quickly. I stumbled upon James Grage and I liked the bands for variation. Plus I don’t feel as wiped with the small bands I have even though I love my dumbbells. I’m impressed with his use of the bands. Thanks for the great videos. I just turned 40 and have been lifting for 20 years. Now my body just doesn’t respond well to the free weights. Switching over to the bands has been great for my joints and overall wear and tear on my body. Just ordered your gloves and looking forward to trying them out. I still go pretty heavy on the tension and the bands can be rough on the hands. Keep up the great videos. Thanks

Really useful content. Before these videos I was training with double the effort for a month without getting any muscle sore and only getting lumbar back pains. It's interesting that without much perceivable change to the way I exercise now, I get no pain in my lumbar and I am able to get a noticeable result and proper muscle sore the next day.
There are some downsides to using resistance bands, but when combined with low weight dumbbells you can achieve a much more efficient exercise (and a much much cheaper home training setup!)

Thanks for the sentence with maximum involving muscle fibres because many people still tell its one muscle, like Pectoralis etc... but it's about tut Exzentrik parabolic strength increase and full range of motion
