I tried this 7 months ago on 4 roses and one of them was an amazing success. Now is big and started to have baby flowers 🥰
I have applied this method with great success over a period of time using hormone powder. My garden is filled with self-propagated rose cuttings. However, patience is the name of the game. Don't despair should your first attempt fails. Keep trying, success is just around the corner. Happy gardening.

What hormone powder were you using? I've used rooton many times but my cuttings usually just die from the ground up. Some even get mold. (Too wet, yeah)

I've rooted roses but i can never seem to get the store bouquets to root.
Have you messed with grafting these to make one? I see allot of videos with people doing it to fruit trees. I just think it would be killer to have different color rose bushes blooming coming up the driveway.

I love roses they are definitely my favourite flower. I am constantly trying to propagate new roses from my existing ones. I have about 7 rose bushes and they all have a fragrance. I prefer them with a scent. I am constantly cutting and trimming all my rose bushes. The cuttings that I keep for propagation are the thick stems. I immediately put them into pot plants full of soil. I keep the soil moist and keep the cuttings in the sunlight. Whenever I eat eggs I will keep the shells and dry them. I then crumble the shells on top of the soil. I use the eggshells for my existing roses too. They are also good for keeping snails and slugs away. Eggshells provide protein and nutrients for the plants. I cut all the spent roses to encourage new growth and flowers. With propagation, you definitely need a lot of patience. But your patience will reward you eventually.❤

This September I got a bouquet of roses and decided to root them and out of 12 I only lost 1. I did everything you did but got rooting hormone from Lowes. And put them all in the same large pot and put the pot in the shade up against the outside wall of my house. I checked on them daily as I'd put my dogs out. sprinkled them just a little bit to keep them moist. I should be doing videos of my rooting roses before, during and after because I've finally been successful 😄 I love my plants !! After 4 years of trying I finally did it ! Now everything I root takes ! How you know it's rooting is you try to take a leaf off and it doesn't come off ! Not tugging on the plant where it's rooting because you can damage your success !!

I have succeeded till the leaf stage. I think it will need atleast 8 weeks in the soil to grow roots and gradual acclimatisation by removing bottle for small amounts of time everyday. Will keep you posted. Thanks very much

Beautiful roses
Friends it's simple techniques i did it when i was in abroad,
Take the rose cut it at 45 degrees only, immediately apply Colgate on the cut part, just make small cuts on the rose cutting max 3 on all the sides, cut 2 Onions small, one rotten banana is enough, mix with cow dung , and co copit, and red and black soil, take a bottle make one hole only and put a tube inside the bottle next end of the tube has be underneath the pot , knote the bottle has to be above the pot level. Cut the leaves little each, add vermicompost and half spoon of urea, squeeze one lemon along with the onion mixture,one rotten banana, kindly spray turmeric and need not the powder form on the rose , apply Colgate on the outer layer of the rose , cover the same with big plastic bag , make multiple holes on the lower bottom of the pot, scrap the edges of the pot, take multiple leaves in a new pot put turmeric and neem cow dung, some fresh durva few onions and one spoon of white vinegar to make your own manure ,
Take two capsules of vitamin B12 and Vitamin A and Vitamin D, place the same inside the middle of the pot.
Please don't water just 100 ml of water sprinkle on the rose plant, don't over water them, keep them in low or middle sunlight place inside your home, if you have UV light blue.place the same side wise of the pot.

Please sprinkle with concent. measured above a few garlic to be crushed totally and mixed in the pot,

I do easy way just put in garden water it evry other day and partly shaded sunny place after 6 weeks it will grow i do every cutting like that. And it works for me mostly
