Nitin Gadkari sir is Baap of all BJP ministers and Mother of all reconstruction of roads in India. From South to North East to West, Gadkari is name of highways that no other person can match except Shri Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri . Thanks
On the flip side, it is Central Railways executing doubling project from Pune to Miraj to Hubbali line who has taken credit for fast execution despite all odds against Railways work. Sahayadri edges were cut and resized with path for second line from Shindawane to Satara stretch and work on viaducts as well as 3 critical bridges approach to already finished 3 tunnels are all engineering marvel. The towering pillar at shindavne main ghat approach via duct bridge is hifi and hard work of demigod engineers. Thanks again. Thank you for yet another informative and well narrated video. As earlier your shoot angles and HDR settings are spot on. One question.
What is the approach or departure angle from the tunnels to Pune side? Earlier one had step departure angle after tunnels reauiring trucks to brake hard to maintain composure. This time it will also need ascent because of bidirectional roads and can cause trucks to slow down at creeping speed causing traffic jams.

Kataraj tunnel ko bhi bypass karne kee leye bhi kuchh inputs doo government koo...
Currently NH4 is worst, from khmbatki ghat to karad and then karad-kolhapur-sankeshwar at each point work is in progress no planning at all , it takes 50%more time to travel on this road
Which construction firm is doing this work?
It's NH 4 or 48 ?
Maharashtra sees slow speed development ever since.
To cross check see bullet train, samruddhi marg, Delhi Mumbai marg. Remember Mumbai is a different place.
To add to it Pune region is slower too, check this same highway ahead. Flyover still developing, out of Pune all developed. Not flyovers in Pune, Pune Metro more and more delays, pathetic management.
work in Maharashtra is always slower than other states and the toll tax is the highest along with RTo fines too , makes me feel sad !!! But great video and amazing details
As said by you, it will take 1 or 1 & Half year to complete, means developing too slow compared to other expressways.
I believe it should get completed by June 2025.

First Satara Pune section will be operational then Pune to Satara work will be completed. Bridge on canal shows the same.
This project does not seem so complicated but still taking time....They should have given it to AFCONS or L&T for fast work... such project which has high impact should be completed fast and opened for public asap...

Speed limit and speed camera will kill all fun . Anyways the traffic is terrible in Maharashtra from Mumbai till Kolhapur. I have covered this distance in 5 hrs once, today it is not possible even in 8 even with expressway or any high speed road.

I think they are working mostly on the right side to send the traffic coming from Satara towards Pune on the new Tunnel. Once that done they can close the old tunnel road and start progress on left side.

इसी हायवे मे फोर लेन सिक्स लेन मे वायडिंग किया जा रहा है. सातारा ते कागल स्ट्रेच 130km
