Can't believe that nearly Ten years has passed since this performance . Saw Bat For Lashes on tour at the wonderful Birmingham town hall in 2009 , and this song was the highlight of the set. Natasha never seems to win anything . Wasn't this the year Speech D'belle or whatever her name was won. ? . Sunk without trace afterwards (PC nonsense that the Brit awards are!)
Ok listening to em again, i like the culture show performance better, even with the backup singers. I like how she sings it better on the culture show one, call me crazy.
Britney Spears latest album from 2016 is incredible too :) "Man on the Moon" and her song "Unusual You" from 2009 - all mysterious and enchanting. Natasha and Brit are my two fave misunderstood and mysterious artists that I am listening to right now at the same time :)
This is such a great performance but the sound engineer really screwed up, the harmonies are louder than the lead. They need more reverb and less volume
@Luke19Wales I'd go with that '330R' said :) It's good to be positive. Besides, she'll be singing for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse :) That seems like a pretty good break to me

That's her drummer and bassist. They're awesome musicians. Maybe not such great backup vocalists in this setting.
