- Put some liquid bleach in the drain, ---optional and sprinkle some comet in with it while you are pouring the bleach in- --, and repeat every 1 hour or so and after 4 hours of this bleaching, you're good to go do a load of clean smelling laundry. it worked for me. NOTE also to maintain a clean washer take a load of white laundry and run it with the maximum allowed bleach added to it and run it twice in a row with that Max bleach. if you can smell the bleach while its washing you know you did it right. i would do the whilte laundry w Max Bleach once per month

Solid advice. I be getting that stank from my shower drain and kitchen/bathroom sink. Usually I poor bleach or baking soda and vinegar. It works but it comes back later on.
yeah i had to do that once to the kitchen sink
I might try this because my pipe isn't slanted enough so I think there is some build up. Although I usually get the smell away by filling the washer to the top with no laundry Then I put vinegar in it. Maybe a little soap. Let it sit in the washer full for an hour. Then rinse. I always leave the top open so it air dries. If you close the lid it stays musty and can grow mold. Just a few tips for anyone. GL
I have this same washer 🙂
So if my drain line goes into a laundry tub...how does that work? It smells like sulfur during the rinse cycle I think
you pour bleach into your drain pipe and i also ran a load of white towels w alot of bleach added in to the washer like 3 xs back to back to back and the smell NEVER came back. your issue is the washer i am guessing.
I haven't had that problem yet! But, did your clothing smell like eggs when it smelled, and did the water back up out of that drain? Oh, you have a well? I heard you mention well.....
NO... NOPE.. YOU MAY HAVE TO CALL A DRAIN EXPERT IF THE WATER BACKS UP
Question 🙋♂️ my drain hose goes into my slop sink so do I pour the bleach Into my machine and run it hot or into my slop sink I’m Mmmmmm worried that bleach will hurt the pipes
bleach wont hurt the pipes in the amount that you will be using

@@anthonysodano2882 since i did what i said i did, i have never had the egg smell, keep in mind, you have to repeat the cleaning every now and then to keep the smell away, like running a load of white cloths w alot of bleach every month really helps too
@@pokeprofit1033 Frank I ran the machine on self wash and put bleach in the Compartment it goes in so hopefully it works
@@pokeprofit1033 we have the Samsung machine it’s horrible good thing it came with the house and we didn’t pay for it because I will never buy a machine without Agitator
It was hf gas from dirt mold grime
Alternatively, can you use vinegar?
probably it would work as well
I tried and retried and the smell is still awful. I think it an area in the washer
did you run a load of white towels with extra bleach thru the washer, do that 2 or 3 times and see how it is. when the washer is running the whites you should have a strong smell of bleach that will tell you you put enough extra bleach in. that helped me alot w mine.
