I think 90 % CA student are stuck in CA ... not able to drop out from it even after 6 7 years and 10 yrs ... i wish someone had counselled me 3 years back at least ...

Not even icai takes us so seriously like u do.
I as semi qualified was treated like a illegitimate child of icai, some sort of burden at home as well as in professional life.
U r the only one person who speaks about semiqualifieds without any sugar coated words.

That's absolutely true sir. I also took the same path 2 years back. Going back to the office and working after sitting home for so long was a big turning point in my CA journey. It enhances the confidence to a great extent, it helps in coming out of the negativity of back to back exam failures and one starts feeling valuable again. Their work culture is really amazing and of course pay hefty packages. So, I cleared my CA finals while working in a KPO and then I moved back to the country practice. I would say it is one of the best options for every semi qualified CA out there.

For all the practicing CAs wondering why there is shortage of paid assistants. Do watch this video! Plus I'd like to add the following for them:
1. The stipend stayed same for ages. It should have alteast been adjusted for inflation, let alone for performance
2. Article assistants are also human beings who need a work life balance
3. While having charged the clients high fee and paid meager amounts to articles, you may have won in the short-term
4. Today the client is aware of a lot of things and also the fact that one CA may undercut another CA by charging lesser fee (lesser than prescribed norms, at times) and that article will not stay after those 3 years has in a way caused long-term pain
5. As these offshore units start expanding, it will become a big challenge to retain talent for most small and mid sized firms

IOCL recruitment for CA intermediate is a scam reason being the cut off which they have kept for general as well as reserved class is so high that a candidate of IPCC secure a rank with that score in top 50 such a guy will hardly quit CA final to get 3 years of experience and join IOCL this is a rarest of rare circumstances, big game played by IOCL you must bring up this concern to general public and even ICAI

I am semi qualified CA and work in KPO, Australian based..work life balance is not good..every day we work around 10 to 12 hours work from home.. 1st & 3rd Saturday off and Sunday..Filling Timesheet is most frustrating task..I won't advice working in KPO I would rather advice work for Indian co tally based accounting so you can switch to Big companies later on..if you work in KPO your experience won't be considered if you later want to switch

@@namratabana4082 Google Kpo accounting job in xyz city. Find the name of the organization in google & directly call them, talk to their HR. Keep your resume updated & handy. Kpo offers bookkeeping & tax return jobs. Getting jobs in a Kpo is easy as they have high employee turnover & lot of work is being outsourced to them. Good luck.

There are so many CAs out there will ample skill sets, experience and knowledge but just due to the number of attempts he is not getting any job.

Iam taking classes for fund accounting and investment banking as I was getting negativity decided to go for job for 1 year atleast..... I think this area of fund accounting and reporting also providing for good opportunities in BNY mellon, statetreet etc

I am from Navi Mumbai and July 2021 was my 13 10th in CA final I have cleared CA final group 2 in May 2016.. completed my articleship in August 2015 from a small firm .. Thereafter I just gave exams n assisted my father in his uniform manufacturing business.. (since he is a cancer survivor) so basically I don't have any experience after my articleship.. also said I don't want to indulge in the core accounting or finance job.
