- The beginning of the year was a whirlwind of doctors and procedures trying to figure out what was wrong. After 6 doctors, I was finally diagnosed with a skenes gland cyst and was scheduled for surgery right after I came home from Everest. When surgery day came I was so nervous, but I was ready to have it all be over. But when they put me under for surgery they found a surprise💀 watch the video to find out what!
For anyone going through something like this, my heart goes out to you. The medical world is a big and confusing place and I hope nothing but the best for you!!

The way Dakota is comforting Brooklyn after surgery awe
Dakota is a very good husband, they both won the good husband lottoret or something…I can’t seem to find one!
Narcotics.
I feel like Brooklyn is the twin that goes through the most, from breakups to hurting her private on the fence that one time, and now this???? GURL you are stronger, we love you
Thank you🥹
@@BrooklynAndBailey The gown and hat would make an awesome print on a T-Shirt.....😂😂🤣🤣
Stronger? Hope you meant strong and not comparing her 🙂
idk why you couldn’t have just said she’s strong or been through a lot? no need to compare them just bc they are twins
i honestly don’t think she meant any harm nor did she mean to compare the twins. y’all are too sensitive for me, chill.
My heart broke for you in the beginning when you were crying. As a SA survivor I think it is incredibly important for all medical professionals to treat people with the assumption that their patient could have trauma and do their best to explain to the patient what they are doing and why (especially when they are examining private areas)
It sounds like you felt nervous and violated by that experience and I’m glad that your other experiences after were much better. ❤️
It’s so terrifying to see hear her story I can’t even imagine what she actually felt like…so sad these situations happen 😔
As another SA survivor, I completely agree.❤❤
As an SA survivor I'm so incredibly sorry for your experience.
you are strong.

So much respect for you sharing this with your audience even though it's personal, navigating these types of things in the medical system is so scary and your experience will help so many people going through something similar when they look it up and get to see your video
Thank you!!💕

Post op Brooklyn will always be funny. Dakota gets husbandly brownie points for being so sweet!❤
*so from working in the medical field, i fully believe the pressure from the altitude change on Mount Everest is what made it go away, it definitely could have like “suffocated” it and cut off blood supply causing it to go away. such a blessing* 💕
Now THAT makes a lot of sense. Thanks for the explanation!!!
@@francescathomas3502 of course love ! 💕 our bodies can do amazing things
Lesson learned. If this ever happens to me, hike Mount Everest. 😂😂
I think it rupturing along with the antibiotics caused it to go away. There's a slight chance it could come back one day. Hopefully it won't though. If they didn't see anything at all then I think she'll be good.
Perfect timing, probably walking it off at steep heights also helped
I love how real and raw your videos are
Thank you so much for sharing Brooklyn. One of my friends had a terrible OBGYN experience where something similar happened.
I went through pain for 25+ years until I found a Dr who referred me to a urologist.
They found over 35 tumours in my bladder. Luckily, nothing was cancerous. So glad you got this sorted quickly ❤
That’s insane! How did no one figure it out?????? I’m so sorry you went through this
@LivvyAlexW they just weren't listening to me basically. I had been to Drs and urologists so many times, but they never decided to look in my bladder. They kept telling me it was a UTI.
It wasn't until I couldn't urinate at all, ending up in emergency, that I begged in tears, to a dr to please refer me to this urologist I had been told about through a friend.
Finally I got that appointment, but he didn't believe me either. Then once the camera went in, his whole demeanour changed. Within 2 weeks I was in surgery. I'm in the 1 percentile that none where cancerous (lucky for them).
Mount everest was lowkey a blessing in disguise
It definitely was!!
God works in mysterious ways❤
“mAyBe iTs a bLeSsiNg iN diSgUiSe...i sEe mY rEfLeCtiOn iN uR eYeS” I’m sorry it was the first thing that came to mind when I read this comment 😭😭😭

God performed a miracle!! So glad you’re feeling better!!!
👍👍👍💪
Not a miracle it's just what God does.....all things are possible through him..
All I could think of listening to you was "But God." If I every wanted to second hand witness a miracle, I think this was it. Wishing you a speedy rest of your recovery ( I saw the Bridgerton video and the WorkSwap so I know you are at least up and moving around)
God still does miracles! Happy you received one and hope that lump stays away forever
Brooklyn, I'm so sorry you had to go through this. Thank you for being so brave and sharing it, you inspire women to be on top of their health. I'm glad it turned out well for you and I hope you're fine and healthy. Love you and love your videos. You guys are amazing role models. ❤🤍🙌
It’s so hard to see Brooklyn breakdown! 😢 Glad you’re doing better now!! ❤
I'm glad you're doing well after surgery 🩷🫶🏻
This was put up a second time
Yikes, Y'all, that's definitely gotta be one of the most scariest and painful situation to have. Having an infection around that area is painful enough, but a cyst definitely painful. Glad it healed itself, Brooklyn, it will take a while for your body to heal itself for sure. Take care of yourself and hope you feel better soon. 🫂
Love how real your videos are, glad Brooklyn's body healed the problem well ❤
All my prayers to you Brooklyn, glad that you're feeling better 🙏
As someone with chronic illness who has navigated the medical system, thank you for sharing your experience both good and bad! Medical gaslighting and negative experiences happen way to often especially to women and the more we speak about them the better!
I hope you are doing better after this huge ordeal. 🙁 sending all the love ❤ Love you so so much Brooklyn! 💖
Thank you Brooklyn for sharing your experience with us and I hope you feel better & that's true, it is a blessing. Sorry you went thru this, may you recover from this. ❤❤

Brooklyn on meds is just as hilarious as it was when they got their wisdom teeth removed! lol!
Miracles still happen!! 🙏 Glad you feel better! 🤗
I’m so glad you didn't need surgery and that your body was able to heal it on its own.❤
Thank you for speaking about this!! Also, Dakota's Brooklyn T-shirt is the cutest thing I've ever seen.
All prayers go to you 🙏. Good to know that Dakota was there to support you. You deserved all the love ❤❤❤
I am so glad you are well, Brooklyn. Sending all blessings and good vibes🙏🏽✨

Thank you for sharing something so vulnerable…definitely learned something new…so sorry you had that terrible experience at first but glad everything healed! Our bodies really can do some amazing things!
HEYYY YOUR NOT ALONE🖤 it’s terrifying and sad how the medical care industry is and it’s legit a industry more then it is a field of healing
Thank you for being so open ❤
you are so strong. I’m so glad you got through this! It’s crazy how your body fixed it❤
Wow, what a miracle and blessing! So glad you are doing better now!
WOW, that is such a miracle. You are one strong and incredible human
Thank you for sharing! I’m so sorry the first person you saw was awful. Hope you feel better now after surgery. I had a huge fibroma (basically a non cancerous tumour) in my uterus that was protruding into my cervix that had to be surgically removed.
You did the right thing to keep looking for more opinions and answers. Glad the pain is gone and that you are all right now. 😊
Im sorry for that Brooklyn 😔😔😔. I hope you’re okay. ❤️❤️❤️
I'm so glad that everything worked out for the better 😊
Thank you thank you thank you for sharing. This is POWERFUL and WILL make a difference to sp many others.
Wow! What a journey. Crazy and incredible. So glad you're OK!
Wow, Brooklyn. This was an incredibly helpful video and SO kind of you to share your story to help other women know that it's okay. You're a badass 💪🏼
Videos like this is what pushes me to continue my path to becoming an ob/gyn. Thanks for sharing and sending prayers your way ❤️
what a miracle! That is so amazing how bodies can do that. i know God was involved in that and i'll continue to pray for your recovery!💕
Thank you so much for using your voice to talk about this topic! Women’s health is not taken as seriously as it should be and as a gal with endometriosis I’m grateful for you!
I’m so emotional after this video. Your so strong, thank you for sharing your story. ❤
So glad that you are doing better. I had an exploratory procedure done in January. I had several scans done and they thought that I had an aggressive cancer but luckily when they went it there was nothing. But it was some what frustrating because I was left with the same urology problems with extreme pain from the procedure and a decent hospital bill lol. But God was looking out for both of us and he took care of it all.
brooklyn you are so brave for sharing this with us thanks for being so honest and keeping it real❤
I LOVE YOU GUYS!! i feel like if this happened to me i would be sobbing and confused!! and you handled it so well!! love yall!!

So happy for you Brooklyn! Thank you for sharing this journey with us. I can understand why you would be frustrated after the surgery. I just had my gallbladder out this week. The recovery has honestly been terrible so far. But this video helped me not to feel alone in my experience. ❤
Woah...cannot believe that first doc you saw! I'm glad it all turned out well in the end.

Brooklyn I'm so glad your ok, really hope you get better
I love your videos so much!! Keep up the incredible work ladies!!💖💖
I had a cystoscopy and it was painful. I was told I'm very sensitive and I needed lidocaine twice. Give you props. Mine was done a few days ago. I found out my bladder pain was due to my uterus pushing on my bladder. Thank you for showing what we go through.
That is unfortunate that it disappeared glad they were able to document it at least and glad to hear that your on your way to recovery I truly believe between your body and the choice you made and the decision of being on antibiotics at the time you took them did gave you the best possible outcome.
Sending so much love your way and I am so sorry you had to endure this. I have Endometriosis which took 9 years to diagnose. Majority of my endometriosis effects and was found on my bladder, so also have had my fair share of cystoscopys and bladder/ urethra procedures. Women’s health needs to be taken more seriously. Definitely when it comes to consent and exams. Thank you for sharing such a vulnerable time in your life and showing people that if you don’t feel confident/ comfortable it’s okay to get a second, third, fourth opinion etc until you feel confident in the care you are receiving. No one knows your body like you do! ❤
@makayla5227 oh I am so sorry to hear you deal with this! I have symptoms and have had so many bladder procedures done which have ruled out IC but bladder Endo symptoms cross over a lot with IC so I think that’s why. I hope your pain & symptoms are under control at the moment and you have found a great medical team who listen to you ❤️
I’m grateful you are talking about going to the gynecologist. I had a massive fibroid in my uterus that I had to have a C-section to remove a few years ago. It was my first time going to the Gynecologist at least 10 years too late. I think it’s important to help girls realize that it’s not for, our sexual health, but for our overall health that we go. I really think this experience for you will help girls realize this 🙏🏻
Never been this early. Hope you feel better Brooklyn ❤
Girl, you feel better okay?
We love you!
Love how supportive Dakota was!
I've been through childbirth and get a different type of cyst: the cysts can vary in pain from mildly annoying to on level with childbirth. That area is so sensitive so I get it. You've been through a lot Brooklyn and you're so strong because of it
Thank you for being so open and honest. I myself have PCOS which means I have cysts on my ovaries. And obviously they’re different things but they involve the same thing and I am so glad you are open about it and not holding back because women go through these things and you speaking about it could help them and make them feel better.
Oh gosh thats so scary, thanks for sharing. Medical appointments always freak me out
Don’t worry Brooklyn, Dakota, Bailey, ur family and us are here for u and we’ll all have ur back, we promise, ur strong and brave, and we’ll always be with u ❤️❤️
Glad you’re okay Brooklyn, we love you❤
so glad you're doing well, brooklyn!! :)

You’re a miracle! We’re not surprised 🥹💕🤍
What a wild adventure!!! So sorry you had to deal with all of this sh*t but so glad it went away on its own and that you are okay!
I’ve been going through health issues and have seizures ( I know it’s not the same thing) but have had extensive tests and some of these negative experiences I’m glad you are now feeling better.
