- This video is for the maintenance industry. Many techs are stuck in bad properties with low paying budgets. Many of them are very good but are just unlucky to have landed in bad properties with bad regional supervisors that have no intrest in promoting them or paying them more.

I love your videos! I also came from construction! When I started maintenance I started as a porter and within 3 years I became a manager! You have to be hungry but humble if you want to move up. You’ve been an inspiration to me! I Appreciate you!

That's all true special right now with all the inflation
If you stay to long in the same apt complex your going to be stuck with the same money and not opportunity and the sad part is the new people or other friends make more money in other complex
I have a question. So I couldn't handle being on call 24/7, 7 days a week. I felt like I couldn't relax or get into anything because at a moment's notice, I'd have to get up and go. I know you do. My question is how? I couldn't do it for more than a month and quit. If I could have had a couple hours of wiggle room to get there I may have stayed. Did I over react? I just value my time so much more than money at the end of the day.
That is definitely one of the main reasons we can't keep maintenance techs. The worst part is some companies try to send their guys early on Friday is they did any on call hrs. I don't blame you!! We all really hate the on call.

Honestly agree with you with that these owners are darn cheap currently I work at a garden style property outside
I paint, to turns , and plumbing 🪠 work and the pay is not much the maintenance tech needs to be better
