Bro Lively had 12 free throws because they were doing Hack-a-Lively and fouled him 4 different times. So for the actual free throw totals of non hack a Shaq style free throws subtract 8 from the Mavs total attempts. So really the Mavs took 17 free throws (not 25) to OKC’s 19.
Start counting all the Shai's free throws back thenn, during the season, you'll be very, very surprised!

One thing I realized this series is that if the “Dorture Chamber” was physically guarding SGA the way he is with Luka, SGA’s soft whistles would get him averaging 18fts a game and Dort having 4 fouls by the end of 1st 🤣 the way the physicality goalposts moves whenever its okc possession is crazy. Yes SGA and Luka foul baits tf out but deadass, Clips/Mavs series was so fun to watch cuz of how physical they let them play and ofc even as a mavs fan Luka whined and complained to the refs majority on that clips series but he did adjust towards end of the series
Playoffs literally started with the whole “marginal” foul calls now its become a shit show again and yes Luka can do with a possession without putting his hands up for a call. But the blatant difference on foul qualities for both superstars is mad obvious 🤦🏽♂️

The foul where we can see PJ coming in on SGA in the end was actually a loose ball on D lively, they started doing that in the end which is why he has 12 attempts

I don't think it is biased, the reason why Mav fan were saying that in the 1st game was not because Mav weren't getting the calls but it was because of the calls that the Thunders were getting and Mavs weren't getting the same calls from the refs. If you watched that 1st game you would think it was a regular season game watching the Thunders getting those calls, it can also look at the free throw disparity in that game it was ridiculous. The second game was a little better.
When I played bball we would complain to the refs to call it the same both ways. This happens because the ref that is calling the baseline will call the centerline so you will get 2 different interpretation of the call's. You tell the ref to call it the same both ways to get them to confer and determine how a foul will be called. You have to wait until the second half to see if it's ref applying the rules 2 different ways or they have a problem with the player.

When I watched the clipper Vs Mav or Nuggets vs Timberwolves and other games, the difference was like night and day. At one point I said it seems the Mavs could not even touch the opposing players without the whistle being blown, then you will see a thunder player literal jumping on Gafford back and no foul call, to those watching it goes beyond what you are trying to explain.
