Right, Luka is one of the best passers in the league but that sometimes gets overshadowed by his ability to also be one of the best scorers in the league. He struggled badly most of the playoffs and the Mavs are still winning games this is a different Mavs team.

Saying Dallas lives and dies by Luka is the most ignorant thing you could say. Saying he needs to pass the ball around when it's 5 seconds left and no Josh Green wasn't really open 😂 there are times where the supporting cast isn't doing much and Luka has to make things happen. Anyone that actually paid attention saw that he literally has 4 injuries from the report so saying shit about his decision making, his shot selection, his defense or even passing is just laughable. It’s not that Mavs fans think there wasn’t a foul. It’s that Luka gets that same physicality whether late or early and he doesn’t get those same soft whistles that Shai gets.

Luka passes all the time dude, his teammates have a tendency to brick shots, so his usage increases in order to control the game more. The attention he demands creates opportunities for role players.
Are you saying he’s not an effective passer? You know he was 3rd in assists right? He’s among the leagues most thrilling passers in since White-Chocolate, Bird, and Magic. 8th in Steals and you talk like he’s non-existent when it comes to defense.
He’s a generational talent when it comes to court vision. It’s why he’s the most double-teamed player in the NBA by a wide margin.

It's hard to see the Timberwolves lose 4 in a row, but after the blowout loss in Game 2 the Nuggets look like they are on a mission. I hope Wolves win Game 6 and force a Game 7. No way Kai loses Game 6 for a chance to close it out. He will step up, especially if Luka is cold to start the game. I have been saying Mavs in 6 since the playoffs started starting with the LA Clippers series and then with the OKC Thunder. I felt Clippers were too old and banged up to beat Dallas and I thought the Thunder were too young.
As a side note: It's hard to believe that Dereck Lively is a rookie. Lively hasn't looked like a rookie all post season. I'll admit I didn't watch the Thunder-Pelicans series so I have no idea how Chet played, but this series he looks like a rookie.
