Beautiful. Loves sea is them ! I’m loving forget me nots this year also but thinking they only give one display of blooms and then dry up. They lasted long! Am I right in thinking they will not come back now till next year feb ? Also how do I seed new ones now ?
Great that the blooms lasted longer than you expected 🌼. Yes, you will have to wait for next year to enjoy them again and I wouldn’t worry about planting for next year, they will just sew themselves out. From my experience, I have more in the garden every year without even trying🌼

I have them sprinkled all over the garden and they seem to grow best where they have the most light. Combining them with hostas can be tricky as the seedlings might not get enough light due to the growth pattern of the hostas. I hope that helps. Happy planting 🌼
They do need to get enough sunlight. If they are too overshadowed they might not bloom well. But you can give it a try and let me know how it turns out. Happy planting 🌼

So you can begin with some starter plants from your garden center or plant from seeds, then, hopefully after that you don’t have to do anything but enjoy them every year. I hope that was helpful 🌼

I found a patch of them growing wild in the woods. I want to transplant them into my flower beds as ground cover without managing to kill them.

In my garden, the ones that bloom best are those that get full morning sun and are in the shade in the afternoon. They bloom for about three months.

They bloom from early spring to late summer. But from my experience the best flush of blooms come out about mid to late spring.
