Wow, I’d forgotten about what it looked like when you started, what a great transformation
For real! It blows my mind every time I see old pics and videos. Way more than I thought it was going to be to rebuild and I sometimes wish I didn't do this but I just look at how much housing is in my area and then I'm like, alright, can't complain too much. Ha!
WOW, THERE ARE SO MANY LIGHTS IN THE LIVING ROOM/KITCHEN...I THINK THEY CAN SEE YOU FROM SPACE 😅😅😅..ANYWAY LOOKING GOOD, THANKS FOR INVITING ME INTO YOUR HOME 🏡
Yeah, I could have gone with a little less of those for sure. Glad I put them on dimmer switches for sure! Thanks!
What a great story it has been. You have done it all and I have enjoyed every video and all of your effort. This video was a great reminder of your success! Thanks so much!
I really appreciate that! Thank you very much!
In your laundry you could go with one wall cabinet and use a closet rod connected to its side to the other side wall so you can hang clothes that need air drying like hats, shoes, ......etc.
Good idea! I'll have to do some pinterest searching to get some more ideas too!
It’s so hard to believe this has been going for 4yrs! For some reason I was thinking two. It’s unbelievable how far this project has come!
For real! Almost two years of actually living in it though!
@@thesomewhathandyman9400 that’s wild. I’m so happy for you. I know this project kept me company through all of my cancer treatment so I’m 💯 invested!
Wow😮 what a difference great job very functional
Thanks 👍 Yeah I didn't change too much to the original plan as I thought it was laid out very well.
like always, thank's for the ride...take care!
Thanks! You as well!
What you are doing is amazing. I love all the changes you have made and to code (gotta keep those guys happy). My brother and I worked on a lot of homes from tile to drywall (the worst) you name it we done it! He passed early and i dont get my hands dirty as much anymore. With that being said I can't wait to see what your working on next! By the way love the pooches!!!!
Sorry to hear about losing your brother too soon :( but glad you got to spend time doing meaningful things with him. Appreciate you coming along for the ride! I'll give the pooches some extra pets for you! :)
wow handy what a transformation, its absolutely fabulous, you have worked so hard, well done you, you must be chuffed as punch, to look back and see how you have come along, i hope you are keeping well and fit , resting when you can hugsx
Yeah, it's been a long ride for sure! Every time I finish one more step that makes it just a bit more comfortable, the more I can relax and feel accomplished. Once I get this first shower done, it's going to feel sooooo good. Ha!
Dang you sure worked hard on this home, I really like the open living room & lights in the ceiling. Bright and clean.
Very good remodel ! 🙂
Thank you very much! But yeah, I've been trying to get rid of a lot of my 'things' so I can keep this very open and not cluttered once I get it to living space and not a construction zone. :)
You sure have come a long way!! Looks great! Love all the lighting!
Thanks so much!! Nice to see how your place is coming along as well and congrats on all the new subs you're picking up with all your new content!
You’ve come a looong way🎉 great work, want to see more!😊
Thanks! Once I get the yard a little cleaner, maybe I'll give an outside tour too. :)
Thank you!
You're welcome!
Looking good. Thanks for the tour.
Thanks for checking it out! Cheers!
@@thesomewhathandyman9400 yw cheers
You have come a long way! Great job! Happy Easter
Thank you so much! Hope you have a great Easter weekend as well!
Great job
Thanks!
👍
First, you get extra points for the stereo set!! Do you still have your vinyl records? I just threw my "albums" away three years ago. Man, that was hard.😢 But I needed the space.
When I rewatch your videos, I normally jump to the framing or the sub-flooring. It's stunning to look back at the very start of this project. You have done so much work. Just an incredible job rebuilding your home. Thank you so much for sharing this journey with us.
Thank you so much for hanging out for so long! Yup, I have around 100 lp's or so. I did have a couple hundred more but I thinned it down when I moved across country ten years ago. They're hard to keep lugging around. Plus a lot of those were more electronic dance singles so I didn't much need most of those as I started getting older, ha! But if I find a new album or artist that I really like, I try to buy that album on vinyl if I can.
Your house looks good
Thank you!
HOA and neighbors must be happy with this?
BTW, I cannot recall, did you pull out (of the floor) all the forced air duct-work or leave it in and and work around it?
When you were re-watching the original tour video, did it give you the willies? Now (after all your great rebuild) the original tour makes me cringe more than the first time I saw it.
Yeah, I'm sure everyone around would have rather seen me just pull this out of here and started with a new house but they are still happy to have seen me get rid of all the trash, clean this lot up, and rebuild. It's probably the best HOA I've ever seen as far as balancing individual owner wants, and the needs of the neighborhood. But yeah, this place was a crazy mess.
Did you clean all that stuff out of the Mobile home by yourself??
Oh yeah! It took two 40 yard and one 20 yard dumpsters to clean up the property and countless truck loads of scrap metal and I'm still slowly getting rid of old rotten lumber from the old structure of the house.
Looking damn good!
Thank ya thank ya!
