    Thank you so much for this! But I find out that when I use this same method you're using in making straps, the strap is not quite fitted. It always had excess so it keeps falling off the shoulder. Please what can I do?

      @TheSewistbyCen  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi , it happens to me too 😊 that's why I always make a toile version of it using a cheap fabric to test the fit , by this method, you can edit / alter the necessary adjustments you need. . .
      this is what I always do to all my clients before cutting the actual fabric.
      Its a must to do a toile first esp uf youre fabric is a bit pricey 😅😊👍

    Thank you for this, will this dress come out fitted? If not, how does one make a fitted slip dress pattern without dart lines? Thank you.

    • @TheSewistbyCen
      @TheSewistbyCen  Před 2 lety

      Hi , if you want to make a fitted slip dress w/o dart , cut it on bias or use a satin fabric or any fabric with stretch 😊

    Anong fabric po yung maganda for slip dress? If silk po, anong type po? Thanksss a lot!! ❤✨

    • @TheSewistbyCen
      @TheSewistbyCen  Před 3 lety +1

      Hi Karen, for me maganda yung charmeuse na fabric if you want it na silky , meron magamdang klase ng charmeuse sa Fabric Warehouse Libis Branch sa Ortigas. If you want it in matte type na fabric , bagay ang crepe moss or neocrepe 😊

    Thank you so much for this great video. How do I adjust the length so it’s longer? Thanks ❤️

    I muted the music and played it back at 1/2 speed. I was able to follow it much better. Not a fan of sped up video set to music with no voiced instruction.

    Ugh your “tutorial” isn’t a tutorial. You rush through and don’t explain anything. The neck line doesn’t make sense. What are you measuring from? The mid point of the shoulder? I wish you’d actually take the time to explain properly. If not, why bother?

      Thank you Ms. Enea for the honest advice ❤ this would help my future videos 🙏

      Maybe it's just me, but there were clear and specific enough instructions written on the screen that were easy to comprehend and follow. There are many other videos on CZcams that you can try looking in to.
