  • They're Canada's largest bloc of voters and gave Justin Trudeau three terms in office. But new polling from Abacus found Millennials are now focused on economic considerations, and would prefer to see Pierre Poilievre as Prime Minister.

Singh is a Khalistani (separatist) and has his loyalty there, as long as Trudeau criticizes India and supports the khalistani cause NDP will continue to serve him. I know it's sad but that's what I think is the reason, NDP also gets a fair share of power through the collation which they wouldn't otherwise. Conservatives have had good relations with India and Scheer even visited India. India's Modi visited during Harper's tenure, so Conservatives in power is the last thing Singh wants to see. I do dislike the fact that many of Conservative followers are alt-right lunatics, otherwise it's a solid party, at least right now.

You think Pierre Poilievre wouldn't be scandal ridden? Yeah, let's try putting in the guy who takes photos with neo-nazis and traitors planning a coup. That's a good idea. The one with the failed housing plan that sold off 800,000 affordable homes when he was Housing Minister. There's even a new Conservative scandal pretty much every week. All of which he endorses. One of the big issues facing the NDP is propping up an unpopular prime minister. Why would anyone support them when they've lashed their party to the Liberals and by proxy all of their scandals and missteps? Most of the NDP hardcores I know want them to be antagonistic to both the Cons and Libs, and see the coalition agreement as a betrayal of what they want the NDP to be fundamentally.

The NDP IS the Liberal Party right now. The Liberal Party is a minority government and can't do ANYTHING without the support of another party and in this case it's been the NDP backing everything the Liberals have done. Carbon Tax? NDP backed it. Immigration increases? NDP Backed it. Decriminalizing many hard drugs and creating an revolving door for criminals? NDP backed it. The WORST part is Jagmeet sold his Party's soul for things like Universal Dental and Pharmacare. What Jagmeet originally wanted versus what he got was a shadow of his original vision. The Phramacare, is happening the same way. The Liberals leading he NDP by the nose, when in reality the NDP hold all the cards but don't have the balls to shut down the Liberals. The NDP are in way too deep at this point and a election now will mean many Liberals voted out but also many of the NDP.

For me, Trudeau never had a "cool factor" There was just something about him that I just didn't buy. I never voted for him in any elections because I just had a gut feeling that it wasn't the right thing to do. He had no qualifications to run a country being a ski board instructor, or a substitute teacher. He was unable to coplete a university course. You don't hire unqualified people to work for you so why would you vote for an unqualified Prime Minister ? It just did not make any sense to me so I voted for an honours graduate in economics, instead, then a brilliant former house speaker, then a retired military man who had worked his way up in the military. Now I am going to vote for another brilliant quick thinking family man who has been in politics much longer than Mr. Trudeau. Ottawa - July 23, 2015 - Isn't it appalling that Stephen Harper, who claims to be a trained economist, will not admit that the Canadian economy is currently in a recession?
For a prime minister who bills himself as a "good economic manager," Harper's fiscal record is abysmal at best. Job creation is weak, as there are 200,000 more Canadians who are out of a job now than there were before the last recession in 2008. The Conservatives said their corporate tax cuts would encourage companies to invest in their employees, but instead corporations are sitting on billions in unused cash.
When confronted with the question of whether or not Canada is in a recession, Finance Minister Joe Oliver denies the possibility and says "we are staying the course." But TD, the Bank of America, and a number of Canadian economists all agree that we are in a recession.

Look at Quebec, they are the Liberal capital of Canada, they are the reason Trudeau still has some votes, how many times do they need to increase the carbon tax before Quebec votes conservative.

Understandable, but I don't think they will be happy with the alternative, certainly
not if they care about the climate emergency

If Canada went to zero emissions it would be nothing in the grand scheme of things. We are 1.8% of global emissions.

And we should trust them to make a better decision next time? Maybe these voters should self-reflect on their judgement.

The older you get. The harder you work. The more you respect fiscal responsibility and policy.

I was just talking to a friend of mine yesterday who had four children. The second one though is moving back home because unfortunately in his 40s living alone and unmarried he is unable to sustain an apartment, food and all of the other amenities that it takes to live. So now he's moving back home to join his sister who has moved in from another city who again was unable to continue to live on her own as prices have increased to a point where they were sustainable. Luckily my friend has a large house and can accommodate his children. This is what's happening in this country. Thanks to Justin Trudeau and his liberal government

Me and my wife are trying to have a kid, and this is basically our plan if she gets pregnant before I get a substantially better paying job. My parents live at their cottage, they only go to the house to care for my grandparents, for them they're cool provided I'm taking my grandparents to doctors appointments etc.
