I learned to service my 8 speed Automatic in my Ram by watching one of your videos.

His true talent is letting his boss "think" that he won those races. He short-shifted on the first loss and got out of the line and spun the tires on the second one. He may not be pretty, but Jackstand is pretty smart. Never beat your boss in a race or in golf. That truck can stomp the vette any day of the week. Deal with it, Cleet.

All bracket racers run automatic transmissions and they generally run near identical times and speeds every run. That thing is ridiculously fast though. Somebody gettin a hotrod! 😃
Just goes to show how consistent the engine and transmission setup are. This is coming from a bowtie boy. General Motors needs to get on ball with there on 10 speed blower truck asap!

@@Cherokee93 the 10 speed is a Ford-GM venture just so you're aware... Ford designed the 10 speed primarily and GM built the 9 speed primarily. Ironically the 9 speed has issues in GM vehicles and the 10 speed has issues in Ford vehicles (I'm currently having issues with mine in my f150 with about 4k miles on it.) But it's doesn't trend the other way as much, which is weird.
They all suck about the same honestly.
That 10 speed transmission is fantastic

I think the coyote engine has made Cletus a believer in the potential they have for it’s a stock engines with boost
They love boost, that's their whole game. Making more hp than an LS on at the same boost levels despite the the displacement discrepancy .
Those ford v8's are truly impressive, 800+ horsepower to the wheels through a TC auto box on a stock engine that's rated at 400bhp from factory. wow.
It’s impressive for certain, but dollar per horsepower though, the almost twenty year old 6.0 swapped turbo Silverado with a 4l80e still looks like the low buck reigning champion of the world.
It's because ones old and ones new. In 15 more years they'll will be coyotes at the junk yard that you can slap a turbo on for cheap... and still smoke a ls lol
@@dochaze1 You can’t just bolt a turbo on a LS and be done and happy with it. It still needs a cam, injectors, sometimes fuel pump, etc. to be a halfway reliable build. These Coyotes are crazy what they can do. And I love LS’s also.

A true testament to the 10 speed transmission. What a beast of a truck.
It drives me insane how everyone credits the Trans and nothing else. I can assure you a 10 speed alone isn't gonna come close to what this truck is doing. It's almost 900 rwhp on a stock long block and the thing is under 4500 lbs despite being a full size v8 which is stupid light. All anyone wants to talk about is the Trans as if these other things aren't a factor it's predictable and annoying.
Cleet, you are truly living the dream and seem to be a really awesome dude. Happy for all your success, you deserve it, and wishing you much more.

Man, I give credit to that motor for holding that boost stock, but I personally think if you put a ten speed in something with boost It will help because you do not have to spool a little in between shifts and then gain speed again but you can't eat that with those silky shifts but the c7 with a 10 speed though that would dominate
When that aero advantage hits on the C7 vs. F-150, it shows, but up to 130 holy cow!!
The F150 would clean up if it went bracket racing with that incredible consistency

I've said it before, the Coyote Gen3 is no joke. 450+ HP/Tq stock out the box, warrantied in the Mustang GT, NA, 4 cam sensors, big wheel crank sensor, all the knowhow of Ford put into that engine. Adding a whipple just means adding another more HP to the thing as is normal. Stupid crazy awesome motors. Neighbor wants one and you need to get it for him.
Adding a whipple is more like 2-300hp
On the dyno the truck, on pump gas has 760 whp. I don't know where you get the 150hp from.

@@midnight347there's a lot more that goes into the consistency than it just being an automatic. The fact that it's not heat soaked between passes, the tires and suspension all play a role in maintaining that consistency.

It would pair good with any coyote engine or any high revving engine for that matter. Turns out really aggressive gearing makes high revving engines alot quicker imagine that.

My Dad is a little older, always wanted a Jack Roush mustang, but really prefers trucks. Just this year, he bought a 600ish hp Roush F150, also with that 10 speed. Watching him try to race my Mom's SVR is hilarious. That truck just squats and launches. Just like this truck, stock internals. Just a 5.0 with a blower.
I think you should reevaluate the gear ratios in the trans on the c7 , because of how much power that's making it should pull better through the midrange , and the shifts from the 10 speed sound pretty quick

@@androidas79 Neighbor is a mod motor, either 4.6 or 5.4L with a supercharger. From the New Edge Mustang era, same/similar power plant that was in the Crown Vics originally.

Been considering selling my 2018 supercharged 2SS after getting my doors blown off by a 2021 twin turbo f150 single cab like a month ago 😂 those trucks are so sexy, consistent, and they can handle the power guy has been abusing his twin turbo f150 for a year now on stock Motor/trans and has never had a problem and he was smoking cars left and right
