- I’m excited because today after 2 months, we’re finally able to install our custom carbon fiber steering wheel. This wheel is a much more aggressive wheel with custom carbon fiber, leather wrapping, custom stitching and a true flat bottom. The wheel retains all functions EXCEPT for its heated feature. For the lane assist. If you had the options would it clipped optoons like the airbags or do have to use a wire harness or something for it to work..

My steering wheel is just slightly off center from factory error and wondering if there is room to offset or correct when you put the steering wheel back on the column? No, never heard a thing. Sounds like there is not an option as the steering wheel is preset with no option to offset

Can you pop just the emblem off or will it trigger the airbag? Got rear ended a couple weeks ago- totalled our jeep 😢 I wanna keep the emblem as a keepsake before she goes to the junkyard!
I don’t think it can pop off. I’m not sure if it’ll trigger the airbag but I know the emblem doesn’t come off.

Well the on I have didn’t retain the heated feature but there are others on there that will. They cost a little more though.
Sorry for commenting twice but where did you get your mechanical knowledge. You’re much better than any backyard bolt turner. You tackle jobs that most guy’s wouldn’t. Changing steering wheels is beyond something I would try, I’d be afraid the airbag would explode in my face. Kudos to you brother. 🦾🦾🦾🦾
I appreciate that man, but honestly just picking up things as I go. Being willing to learn and be taught had helped. I’ve been fortunate to have people I can learn from as well so I’m able to apply those lessons for others to be able to follow as well.

Well if you buy the one in the link, it will come with buttons already installed but you can swap them out if you want.

Thank you 🙌🏽 and unfortunately mine didn’t retain that feature but you can still have it at an additional cost. Just let them know you would like to keep the heated feature and they can do it for you.

Not unless I buy an after market hood which won’t be any time soon. The hood I have now comes standard as I have the Limited X model.
