Hi sir, Please help me out. Case of my father. Post cholesystomy, doctors found adenocarcinoma, cystic duct positive in HPE report and given TNM grading as pT2bNxMx. For confirmation I've given blocks and slides for HPE again in other hospital and found Xanthogranulomatous cholecystitis. Now doctor is saying to take another opinion. Actually my mother's WBC was high 15k her esr was also high 160 ...
Doctor was suspecting temporal arteritis as she was having some pain in her temporal region so doctor started steroids n her wbc got 20k n esr got reduced
We did color doppler of temporal artery but it came normal so he stopped steroids
Now doctor is suggesting PET ct scan to look for large vessel inflammation n he also told me that we need to do bone marrow biopsy
She is not having any symptoms except rashes on her face n hands
