I think this may be the most "rustic" (aka ugliest) soap I've ever made! With that being said, it's full of natural goodness, and is still an amazing bar of soap😅 The essential oils caused it to seize up and it was a total challenge to get in the mold 😭 I'll show you how I fix "air pockets" in the finished bar. #soapmaking #essentialoils #soap

They cleaned up nicely! Honestly, with the essential oils, salt, and rustic marble and stone look to them they are about as natural as you can get! You can call them Salt of the Earth bars, Mineral and Stone....something like that. I know it wasn't the look you were hoping for, but it's amazing how much they truly look like stone and there are soapers who try to get that look on purpose. I also really appreciate how honest you are - soaping doesn't always go well and there are plenty of imperfections and you don't sugar coat or hide that fact!

I have to say this is one of the best looking soaps I've seen. I LOVE the color and the uniqueness of each soap. Please don't let this discourage you from making more soap like this. This is quite attractive on how the natural process turn out and it's actually helpful for those who are struggling with breakouts. Great job, Ellen! I will definitely buy soap from you!

Ellen i doing think it's ugly at all!! I love the marble look of it. It's unique and i think it's quite strikingly pretty. The colors are very rich and it really looks like a small granite slab. The top well you did what you could but the rest of the soap i think is striking. I've never seen anyone get a granite look from a fast moving soap like this. So i don't think it's a loss, it's still soap and i think it's pretty.
