    THE CHANNEL:
This channel is about Kerbal Space Program and can consist of SSTO building tutorials and rocket building tutorials. Some times the videos contain bad language and adult humor but on a low level. In these videos no planet is safe as we can explore space together by landing on places like Duna and Jool and build large Duna colonies or orbital space stations. Also, Interplanetary SSTO builds seem to be a hot topic in the KSP community so I will be touching on those as well. I also build SSRT space craft. These are fun to build and easy to fly! Warships or space warships are one of my favorite things to make. Stock weapons can be very challenging and so when building them over time , you get to see the evolution of the designs. Same thing with the Warships. They get better and better with each new design.
Now , I know it's considered cheating but Kraken drives are a fun way to put things like warp drive ( like in Star Trek ) and or hyper drives ( like in Star Wars ) in your Kerbal space program game. These game mechanic loopholes are fun to figure out as you find out how they work and how to incorporate them into your star ship design.
Everything from Outposts on far away moons and Mining Stations around asteroids and comets, you name it I've ether built it or it's on my to do list! I still haven't really explored things like building SpaceX starship or any of the NASA spacecraft, and I think that's because it been done to many times. Recreations of spacecraft can be found almost everywhere on CZcams now and so making yet another one seem redundant. Only if the spacecraft recreation is of one that I loved as a kid will I even attempt to build it. Like the Apollo Moon Lander, or the whole Apollo rocket! Now that rocket was cool!
Many people have ask me if I'm ever going to wear my Mandalorian helmet ever again for my videos. And , yes. when the time is right, and I get a new wabcam, I will be dawning the helmet once more!
Thank you everyone! ... This is the way.

I understand the argument about safety concerns for the passengers and what they would be more comfortable with when it comes to NERVs... but if the OceanGate sub disaster taught me anything it is that that people rich enough to afford this would likely not be looking into the details concerning their own safety and just assume that someone else did the math and made sure it was ok.
As always, she's a beautiful craft. I'm happy that the TURD mod has sparked your muse this much. I'd love to see a full tutorial on how it works, I haven't tried it myself and I know there is a learning curve with it.

@vaos the orange v part is actually just where the nose of the craft is pointing, the yellow circle with the 3 lines is your crafts direction of travel, and angle of attack is actually how far the craft can pull the nose off the direction of travel. Basically the orange v is where your nose is pointing and the yellow circle is where you are actually going

The difference between the longitudinal axis of the fuselage and the chord of the wing, is known as angle of incidence and is static (unless you are flying a F-8 Crusader). Your prograde vector for aviation is known as a velocity vector, they are the same thing (you'll recognize it in fighter HUD videos or flight sims). Angle of attack is the difference between the direction of the relative wind and the chord of the wing - though KSP has this incorrect and it's the difference between where the root part is pointed and the direction of flight. Angle of attack is dynamic and can affect the CoM/ CoL relationship as it can move your center of lift in both the vertical and long axis.
And yes, high angle of attack means significantly more drag, but also usually means more lift, both from the wings and the fuselage (body lift or drag induced lift).

  • @ivolol
    @ivolol Před 16 dny +1

You've got your reasoning all messed up. To you, a non nuclear craft is fast. This is because for the transfer window, the absolute longest period of time that the passenger spends on the craft you don't even give a damn because you just press the little speed up button in the top left and forget that it even exists. You let them sit there on a straight forward Hohmann transfer trajectory playing 52 card pickup over and over and over 'till they're space mush upon arrival.
Whereas if you designed a nuclear craft, with tonnes of efficiency and way more delta v, you could actually do some justice to them. You could put them on a constant acceleration - constant deceleration transfer so they make it to the Mun in hours rather than being bored out of their minds by the time they get there.
But no. The tyranny of the time warp button hides all this calculus away from us. We just pretend we're designing craft to get to the Mun fast, because all we do is look at how soon we can stop burning the engines, rather than for how long we can keep them burning. Because *that* is real, actual fast.

try this, go to settings in your game save menu,
(the screen should be the one that shows your space center to click the buildings)
scroll down the the settings menu until you see advanced tweekables.
      make sure it active.
now in build screen you have a new option when u right click parts that gives you auto strut.
use this to auto strut your wings to your craft to keep them from falling apart.
