sad thing is south Koreans and Korean Americans are not even grateful for Black Americans and their bravery.

Although, I feel that integration hurt Black people in America. The integrating of the armed forces was almost the best thing, I say this because Black people are still catching hell in a country that they have died for as much as the Europeans.

4:07 just to avoid confusion this event was shortly after the end of WWII not during the Korean War. What’s interesting that despite that very negative experience the soldier’s younger brother still joined the Army when the Korean War broke out to fight for his country

One of the major problems that plagued black Americans in uniform during the Post War and Korean War, the leadership of many units was that they were still commanded by White Officers who were unable to accept the executive orders of President Truman, and many were WW2 veterans officers. And it did have a near polarizing impact for many months during the war.

Thanks, so much attention on the Tuskegee Airman and not black in Infantrymen. Please do one on the 2nd Ranger Company all black. I'm a retired senior enlisted black, Green Beret of 28 years.
