What's sad is paying $400 for a 12% chance for a Bedard YG is literally worse than dropping $400 into a slot machine lol
Fr and the crop isn’t very depth either. The only other guys are Carlson, Benson, and Zary really which I would rather have zeegras caughfied swayman for $70 a box all day 😂

Even sadder when you realize these stores buy cases for 700$ and scalp them at 400+ a box my friend owns a shop he doesn’t do this to people he pays 900 a case and is a very small store compared to these guys who’s robbing you? This store 🏬

Not all places are ripping ppl off. My LCS sold me a case at 2200$Cad tax-in but I preordered with them months ago.
My local card shop has them at $250 😂 still not paying that that though
From my knowledge. I tried picking up a case and it seems the supply has been cut this year. They are not making as many but charging more.

Pre-ordered 2 boxes of S2 at 300 a box. Not thrilled about the price, but I have a feeling they’re going to sky rocket. One of the strongest classes in a long time. I’m keeping them sealed.

Never bought Extended Series, there are Bedard Rookies in there and they carry decent value?

You mentioned a ses of cards called SKYBOX eX. Is that the same as Skybox Metal?
Voronkov is the sleeper of this product IMHO and I will be stacking up on him for my PC. Good luck 12% is tough maybe better to buy singles and put it in the injury gods hands.

Nice video but I probably won't invest in too much, prices are just so crazy. I was able to get two boxes of SPA 2023-24 at the normal 250$ price. I might also only buy some of the cheaper products like Trilogy.

Extended series will be more affordable unless big breakers cause prices to sky rocket in tier one or two products

I believe that extended might be the best value if it has a similar price to series 1 with all of the canvas young guns and with fantilli young guns
Yes, it's 120$ USD - 170$ CDN but the chances of pulling Bedards canvas is pretty low.

@@markgaudreau8053 And if I remember correctly, you are only getting 1 YG in a blaster this year as opposed to 2-3 in previous years. It really is a big middle finger from UD to collectors. Price gouging to insane levels. No one should buy at these prices. But the degen gamblers will continue to slowly ruin the hobby for actual collectors.

Pre-ordered a blaster case on October for 495. It’s now 895 lol. Hold, sell (and buy a Bedard YG) or rip?
Did similar, pre-ordered 10 blasters at $39/box, a case of tins for $1.2k, and 6 hobby at $249/box. I am trying to figure out what to do, thinking I will rip 2 hobby boxes, 3 blasters and 2 or 3 tins, sell 2 hobby's, 5 tins & 3 blasters now, then hold the rest. So basically rip a third, sell a third and hold a third.

The box prices or insane and inane, even factoring in bounties. But given that Bedard YGs are pre-selling for $1,000 on eBay, the box sticker price multipliers do align somewhat with other years. I mean, a one-in-eight chance to hit a $1,000 base Bedard YG is relatively high (incl. factoring in potential parallels/inserts). I just think ppl will get killed once they realize the base YG print runs, and that product hits are statistically impossible with so many cases in circulation, a-la 1990s. ...At its core, economics is often a failed experiment in mass psychology.

He's right. Chances are your card is already damaged on the corners or the s urface or the edges. Most likely you're not going to pull a 10 out of 10. Pull ten lucky Bedard cards and you'll get one 10

Sure the biggest hyped release but in terms of long term value it's terrible with the current crop of player, people car bedard or bust alot of first to market sales will sell but ultimately run at a loss it down times..
Ygs canvas never sell well and the other notable names long term carry the same value as previous years like william nylander
