I was stationed 84/85 in PAX River just a hour or so drive from DC. I listened to the Grease Man every more going to work and laughed my butt off. Love the stories he made up!

This is a dream come true. The only voice that reached so deep DC laughed from our soul. Never happier then when Grease was in my car.

I'm realizing now how lucky I was to grow up in Spotsylvania Virginia during the 80s exclamation point mostly listen to The Greaseman but was able to hear Howard I think it was on Sunday night they would do one night. I didn't really remember him much on DC101 because I was born in 75, so I think I was a little young at that point. But I sure remember the greaseman. Then eventually, on 106.7, you had Howard Stern and the greaseman, Imagine 6 hours a day everyday almost of these two guys pushing to the limit. Radio was awesome back then. Sure did take it for granted

He washed out quick in the Los Angeles market. Stern killed him.

Had Grease not ended up in hot water he’d have been Ster’s equal competition still today

Cause Stern is an idiot and most Millennials don't understand Grease man's humor it's too complicated
