You. Are. A. Life. Saver!!!!! I am soon messing too replace my brakes and the 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT8 I bought has Brembo brakes and right away I knew I was in for some broke times trying to replace them. So I started looking for alternatives. I'm a big stickler for "You get what you pay for" but I also like to find very similar products that deliver almost the exact, if not the very same exact, quality over brand name products and I couldn't find nothing. Until I came across your video. I will look for and research these brakes and buy some in the future for my car. Thanks again.
I sold to speed shops for a while, put brake packages together for Mopar guys & if it was out of their customer's budget, I would also look at pad performance based on what they were doing with the car, street, track etc... There may be pads by Brembo, Stoptech, EBC or any number of manufacturers that has higher performance ratings with Mopar rotors & calipers... The key is everything fitting together properly but if it does, Mixing & matching can work & keep costs low x max performance.
I've started tracking my 2015 R/T. Are you saying the Mopar Big brake kit is helpful for track days, or that it would be better to spend the ginormous $ and buy a Brembo or Baer or Wilwood?
I went with the PowerStop Z23 kit which includes the brake pads and drilled/slotted rotors. I am very happy. It made a big difference.

Wow thank you so much this actually really helped me
Will the Mopar big brake kit work on my 18 Durango R/T?
This kit is only for 2 wheels though. Do they only go on the front?
Hey My Mopar Brother. .
Killer advice. Just subscribed. Thanks
Is it okay that only upgrade front breaks?
Love the new ending to the video!
Thanks guy ...I really appreciate the tip
What about the PowerStop Z26 Kit? Drilled and slotted rotors, red dual piston calibers, and ceramic/carbon pads. The entire kit mentioned is $975.
Dope ass beginning to this video yo. I'll try these since I'm looking for better stopping power. New subscriber man .
This was very informative
Great tip. Thanks.
Would this kit (mopar P5160035AB) fit a 2012 Challenger? Or is there a similar pursuit kit for these older models?
Do u know if the master cylinder needs to be changed when going with the bigger breaks such as baer or brembo 6 piston
I have the Brembo 4 piston set up on my 18 R/T. Do you figure that's enough stopping power or should I upgrade? No track days for me...yet.
Surprised Wilwood wasn't mentioned.
