I just installed that same lip in my 2018. I had to use heat to mold and get rid of the side gap. I also sanded, primed and painted it Matte black. I didnt trust the screws they came with so I took the bumper off and used stainless screws with locking nuts. should hold very well. hopefully i dont hit any curbs xD
That is a lot of work for a $100 lip. But I bet it looks great! I had the same idea about using nuts, bolts and washers. Hopefully if you do hit a curb it won’t rip the whole bumper off 😂

The bayson r is better quality than the one I got. No extra securing is needed. It didn’t last cause I hit a curb in the snow 🤣
