in defense of the orchestra (speaking as someone who used to play in this one): instruments are strongly affected by humidity and temperature. Throughout the entire event, the instruments are warming up, therefore getting out of tune, AND the stage is by the water, so wooden instruments are fucked. This was a hard setting to play in. Plus, getting the orchestra to react quickly to sudden cues is also difficult, especially since there are ALWAYS last-minute changes (which are then unrehearsed). Yeah, they didn't sound great here, but it's a reflection of the event, not the orchestra.
Why is no one talking about the fact that the mic stand was too tall for Vic therefore making him have to stand on his toes when speaking XD oh that little Mexican man gets me everytime
I personally feel as though All Time Low deserved it, because I've seen them live and they definitely know how to keep an audience going. ((And break up fights apparently)) But also (I'm not a fan, but heard them play) Twenty One Pilots do pretty well for themselves. All in All, all of these bands deserve an award because they're all amazing but it usually comes down to the size of their fanbase and who can be bothered voting rather than actually how good tehy are.

I played bulls in the bronx lemme say, my teacher wasn't happy but technically I did do what she told me to and bring in a spanish/mexican artist's song.
I personally voted for ATL, but I'm just as happy with any of those bands winning because the reason they got nominated was because they've done amazingly in the past year. Fall Out Boy have been a band the longest out of all the others. They worked pretty hard, just as much as your favorite band did. To be nominated is a huge enough honor, guys. So chillax with the hate and the whining.

I think that PTV deserve the award. Sure, I like all of the others. And thanks to my sis dragging me to the concerts, I've seen them all. And very few live bands can keep me roped in. And the only one that was nominated that can do that is PTV. I've seen numerous bands live because of the deal my sis and I have, but, the main ones that can keep me roped in by the live performance are PTV, SWS, and others in the groove metal genre. So, I am glad they got it.
