Im an African American, thats very interested in whats going on over there. I hope they start open borders because that will help Africa move goods and products, minerals with more ease and catapult African countries in economic growth and put them on a path to become Superpower/Hyperpower competitors like America and China.

This is wonderful. I hope all African countries can trade amongst themselves. To build themse sales up, then begin to strengthen their exports to other countries outside of the continent of Africa, which will give them a stronger connection with African people in the Diaspora and build them up. And the Diaspora, which will in return. Keep Africa protected from the devil. Who doesn't want and never want it, Africa to be powerful.
Use what was done to you to harm you and keep you oppressed to your benefit. You already have your people spread around the world. It's time to connect with them. Build them up and they will be your eyes and ears, and if needed your Trojan horses.
    Thanks smart spread the word.

A nerve of steel (railways) is what Africa needs to make AFCTA a complete success. Kenya should also finish the Nairobi Kisumu Malaba standard gauge railway for it to make economical sense, then Uganda can take over from Malaba all the way to it's border with Rwanda with a branch from Tororo Uganda heading to Juba in South Sudan and on it will go north through Sudan, Chad, all the way to Egypt with another brunch headed for West Africa. Rail transport is the most efficient and ecomical for cross border trade. Ghana as usual has started showing the way.👏👏

It's up to Ghanaians to voting the NPP back come 2024 to continue this viable projects to completion, because the NDC will wayward and do something else different if voted like they overlooked the Prez J A Kufour's "Affordable Housing Projects" and jumping onto the SAGLAME HOUSING DEAL, where, they misused huge amounts, million of dollars into their own pockets and luxury.

This is very good investment. Not just ghana but if every country in Africa developed a railroad it would make evacuated citizens from war torn regions even just simple movement and maybe simply id checks. But it would be controlled travel for Africans to visit other African countries. Instead of thinking they need o go to Europe. So thumbs up to railroad.

Pay a particular attention to the commentary, and you become sharply aware of flaw. Arteries are only beneficial to the country if raw materials are being transported to manufacturing hubs within that country and of course, finished products abroad. Without internal capacity I am fearful that any such plans may lead to our further exploitation.

It is as simple as making an apple pie! America know about fair exchange, imports and exports! All Ghana is doing is expressing what they can do and what lines are we can cross, verses what is no longer available in the free world to America! That’s business as usual! We are lay people as Africans in America! We can make demands and protest against the Western Europe government but we are not authorized to exchange goods like our UN and other strategic elected officials are, some by the way are racist and deliberately falsely accuse our Africa! Like they do everyone who lets them! London fell! So like big boys world wide London has to pull itself back up? Without the free world? Hello! Often times leaders fall, but they get up! Stay neutral in this native territory, we work, eat, and partake, but we have no clearance when it comes to Ghana and America’s treaty with them! Is that clear! Your Bible for the last time is not a thesaurus America! African Americans are the help, not the leaders! Let that resignate! Griots

‘Abuja to Lagos’ big deal. Is Nigeria not hyped to be the ‘gaint’ of Africa? Why is Ghana surpassing them in every level of development?

    • @andersonojoshimite6047

You're embarrassingly ignorant! There are rail lines from Lagos (Southwest) to Kano (Northwest), Port Harcourt (Southsouth) to Maiduguri (Northest). There are standard gauge lines from Warri (Niger Delta) to Ajaokuta (North Central), Lagos to Ibadan (Southwest), Abuja (North-Central) to Kaduna (Northwest). There are planned or ongoing modernization projects like Calabar to Lagos, Kano to Maradi (Niger Republic 🇳🇪), Kaduna to Kano, etc. Abuja has a light rail, Calabar has monorail, and Port Harcourt also has a monorail though uncompleted.
Ghana 🇬🇭 is far behind Nigeria 🇳🇬 in rail infrastructure.
