    Pork chops! Made me love my Foodi even more🤩 I’m originally from Poland🇵🇱, so fried pork chops are sacred, but very time consuming if you want them perfect and you need to watch the pan like a hawk 🦅!Today my fam saw the meat in the shopping bag, so there was no way out. No overnight sitting in milk + onion + spices (if you want them deluxe tender😊) and I had no time for pan frying a couple at a time. Looked up on YT how to adapt to Ninja Foodi and found your recipe for ‘Shake ‘N Bake’ OMG! Gold!!! 10 pork chops ready under 25min.! Potatoes made in my InstantPot and boom! Dinner sorted 🤩👊🏼🥳Thank you 🥰 Dziekuje 🇵🇱

    Thank you very much for your excellent videos, I just got the OL701 a couple of days ago. I used panko breadcrumbs and some other seasonings but followed the pork chop baking instructions and it was delicious. Also made crispy petite gold potatoes and brussel sprouts. Pressure cooked the sprouts and potatoes for 2 mins, then baked the pork chops, then threw the sprouts and potatoes back in to air fry. This is only my 2nd meal I've made in this thing and it turned out amazing.

    I had pork chops yesterday and we cooked it until IT was 155 and let them sit for five minutes. We air fried at 375 and they were PERFECT! I’ve always loved pork chops but now that they’re not as hard as rocks, I love the even more. We used the two tray method and finally discovered that the top rack cooks five degrees higher than the bottom tray. We also do our steaks the same way and I wouldn’t do my steaks any other way ever! We air crisp them up just perfect at 390. Wonderful recipes with great tips are included to perfection! Thanks my friend!

    Used your recipe in my inexpensive Farberware air fryer. I consider myself a competent griller and I love to grill pork chops. This recipe with 5 minutes per side produced the MOST moist and flavorful pork chops I've ever had. They were tender with a crisp exterior and super flavorful. I can't wait to try some other seasoning combinations and my grill will have to wait for other things because I don't know why I'd want to use anything other than my air fryer for usually dry and tough pork chops. Thanks for a great video and recipe!

    I use flour and buttermilk instead of the egg I usually do two at a time and the thought of throwing away half an egg annoys me! (I love my eggs :D) To crumb / dip I use a a couple of baking bread trays. Then cook under the air fryer and I do turn them... about 7-8 mins per side. Definite thumbs up for mixing a little garlic powder in with the crumbs though I do and it adds an amazing taste at the end.

    I tried these tonight but used corn flake crumbs instead of bread because I’m gluten free. Boy was this good! I had to figure out how many minutes of cook time per Oz because I bought very large chops! They were about 13 Oz each and had some bone. Turned out 17-18 minutes at 350 degrees F was just right. These puppies are massive! Next time I’ll go much smaller. I can’t eat this much food. 😂 I have the new Instant Pot Duo. Thank you Louise!

      I'm a T2 and switched from stevia for a lot of foods to pure Monk Fruit. I using only pure whole plant of either. I love the taste of stevia but for a lot of foods it sometimes overpowers lighter flavors. The Monk Fruit is milder and, I feel, a bit sweeter yet. It is so nice3 to have two healthy all natural pure plant zero carb sweeteners isn't it?
      I have to be cautious with off the shelf grocery store stevia products as most are mostly erythritol which is a sugar alcohol all of which will spike blood sugar levels for a lot of diabetics. Same for many Monk Fruit products both online and in the grocery store. Sneak buggers! ;)

    Love this recipe!! I actually been making my own version of shake n bake for a while. I always thought that the store bought version needed some flavor enhancing so I would use the box and add extra seasoning. Also part of the reason the one cooked faster I think could also partially be because you flipped it so the one that cooked faster had both sides up towards the heating element. 😁😁

Probably not noticeable from the top looking down at them, but looking straight on at them, it stood out. @TheSaltedPepper  Před 3 lety

      If you didn't want the Ninja Foodi pressure cooker and air crisper, which is my favorite, I would probably go with the grill or the XL oven. It really depends on your cooking style. The XL grill is great for grilling and air frying, while the oven is larger and does a better job at almost everything, but not air frying.

    I make a type of shake & bake all the time. I leave out the sugar. I don't really care if its 100% on point or not I just don't want the sugar. I also never use an egg wash. I use Olive oil and I save and freeze the leftover bag of seasoning. and when I want to use it again I just take it out and use it. Then I and throw it back in the freezer till it's gone.

    I grew up with shake-n-bake and you don't use an egg batter. I get that you like to make it your own recipe but it's not like the original. There are also lots of shake-n-bake home recipes to make and keep in the pantry that are already on the internet. Shake-n-bake is a nostalgic meal for me. There is also shake-n-bake for chicken. Yummy. I want some now. Lol.

    Here in the UK, a chop has a bone in it. My grocery calls your chops "escalopes", but, as they haven't been beaten down, I consider them steaks. I am sure you have quite an international viewership.

  • @Shelzbells
    @Shelzbells Před 3 lety +1

    • @TheSaltedPepper
      @TheSaltedPepper  Před 3 lety +2

      Because I experiment with different temperatures until I figure out what works best. The rule of thumb is to decrease by 25-50 degrees from oven recipes, but each food cooks a little different, so I use that as a guide and tweak everything while I'm testing the recipes. All of my recipes are (at least) triple tested.
