I truly enjoyed spending a week in Salmiya and Kuwait City in February 2020! This video is an overview of my week in the Arabian Gulf with some helpful travel tips and overview of the top tourist attractions in the country's capital city.
I was in Kuwait during the National Liberation Day celebrating independence, but due to health concerns some of the activities were shut down. Nonetheless, it was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend visiting the vibrant country of Kuwait!

OMG, what a memory, I was born in Kuwait city (my parents worked in the petroleum industry back in the day), and we lived in the town of Salmiya right on the Blajat street/the beach front until I was 15, that was before the first Gulf War.
Now I live in the Bay Area/US for like 29 years and it sucks in comparison. Honestly life in Kuwait was the epitome of fun especially as a kid despite its scorching heat for like two seasons a year. Quality of life was so high for the amount money we spent on everything pretty much. I'd like to go back and visit one day before I die God willing....

I have been in kuwait for 1 year, as i was an expat in duabai before what i felt is, kuwait is such simple country.
There is no filth, no vulagurs, and there is some little happy moments which are lasting. As a muslim man, i can see the best version of me in this country. As at sometimes i feel like my rabb pave me to right path which is even more emotional. 😌
I lived in kuwait for 12 years - left kuwait in Aug '89 just before the gulf war. - if i went there now i will not recognize it at all. It has changed 100%.
I was brought up In kuwait & left for my higher studies. Miss it so much, my house was in the same street as your Air BnB! I recognised it , miss it & feel so happy to see some parts of kuwait that I loved. I will be watching this again & again. Food is the BEST In Kuwait, it’s cheap & tooooo delicious !!

@Mohammad Alebrahim what's funny about your comment is that I am actually from Ahvaz LOL! You can check every map from 1500 years ago until today, and ask the UN, it has always been the Persian Gulf and will remain the Persian Gulf for eternity. Arabs feel so inferior to the Persians that they try to steal and distort history, it's just sad and embarrassing. Try to move in the Persian Gulf without Iran's permission and see what happens to you. You can ask the Greeks, the British and the Americans about that!
@Mohammad Alebrahim and whats more is that its not surrounded by arabs in fact southern iran is mostly Laristani, Bandari, and Raji which are all Persian ethnic groups, nothing to do with Arabs. Even on the other side of the Persian Gulf like Bahrain and Kuwait most of them are Persian! I am from Ahvaz, there are some Arab villages but most people from Ahvaz and Khuzestan are Bakhtiari, Lur, and Dezfuli, which are all Persian tribes! Like I said you should get an education before you say something stupid

لقد كان دخول الطاغية المجرم صدام حسين الى الكويت وغدره بها رحمة ومنفعة للعراق وشعبه . صحيح انها وللاسف دمرت الكويت تدميرا كبيرا و جاءت على حساب دماء ابنائها الابرياء وهي ايضا دمرت العراق وقتل من ابنائه مئات الالاف ولكنها لفتت انظار ابناء الكويت وبعضا من ابناء الخليج ان صدام حسين لا عهد له ولا ذمة ولا شرف وانه يغدر باقرب الناس اليه حتى الذين يساعدونه , كما انهم عرفوا سادية واجرام الطاغية صدام . كنا نحن ابناء العراق نصرخ ونأن من بطش الطاغية وقوانينه القرقوشية اذ كان المواطن العراقي متهما حتى يثبت حبه للطاغية بل وصل بقوانينه القرقوشية الى قطع الاذن واللسان و وشم الجباه بل وتعدى الى ما هو اكثر اجراما اذ كنا ندفع ثمن الطلقات التي يعدم الطاغية بها ابنائنا واخواننا الابرياء , وكانت المحاكم الاجرامية تجرى في الشوارع ولمدة دقائق فقط ثم يعدم الانسان بدون اي رحمة وقد راينا كيف اعدم الطاغية 148 بريئا من ابناء الدجيل في ظرف 17 يوم مات منهم 48 تحت التعذيب وكذلك محاكمة الكسبة من حي جميلة في بغداد وهم 42 كاسبا في ظرف ساعة فقط وتم اعدامهم ولا اظن ان حلبجة والانفال غائبة عن الاذهان حيث قتل الالاف بالكيمياوي . كل هذه الجرائم موجودة على اليوتيوب لمن يريد ان يطلع عليها . هكذا كان الطاغية وهكذا كان حكمه وكنا نصرخ ونستغيث ولا احد يسمعنا بل كنا متهمين باننا لا نحب وطننا واننا كنا نكذب , بل وكان شيعة الكويت ودول الخليج الاخرى ايضا مشكوك في ولائهم لأوطانهم في دول الخليج لانهم كانوا يكرهون الطاغية ويعتبرونه معتديا على ايران , حتى حلت الكارثة بابناء الكويت حينها عرف الشعب الكويتي من هو الطاغية المجرم صدام حسين وما هو اجرامه . شكرا لك صدام لان دخولك الى الكويت هي الخدمة الوحيدة التي قدمتها للعراق وشعبه اذ تحرر العراق بسبب هذه الجريمة البشعة ولو لم يدخل الطاغية الى الكويت لبقي العرب الى الان يمجدون به حتى وان قتل ثلاثة ارباع الشعب العراقي وهذا ما قاله المجرم علي كيمياوي مرة لبعض المرتزقة من الصحفيين والبعثيين العرب , موجود كلامه على اليوتيوب حين تكتبون ( علي كيمياوي يريد نحر 20 مليون عراقي لاجل العرب ) ولبقي الطاغية بطلا حاميا لهم من عدو وهمي لم يهاجمهم يوما ولم يشن حربا عليهم . تحية طيبة لابناء للشعب الكويتي كافة واهله الاحرار وتحية خاصة لمن عرف الطاغية قبل جريمة الغزو من ابناء الكوييت وهم معروفون ولكن دواعش الكويت كانوا يقمعونهم !! . ننقل هنا ما قاله الطاغية لضباطه واعضاء قيادته البعث التكريتي عن الكويت التي كان يدافع عنها كما يدعي .
انتم داخلون للكويت فقولوا للكويتيين انكم عراقيون وان الكويت عراقية ومن يرفض هذا الكلام عليكم ان تقطعوا لسانه من الحنجرة ومن يعترض املأوا فمه بالرصاص , ومن لم يفعل ذلك فساعاقبه باقسى العقوبات , هكذا كان الطاغية وهكذا كانت احكامه واخلاقه فلكم ان تتصوروا كم كانت معاناتنا وعذاباتنا منه ومن حكمه الدموي .!!
