Dashcam: Fire Spreads to Second Residence in Manufactured Home Park, Displacing Three in Newberg

On Monday at 9:30 p.m., a resident on South Mckern Court in Newberg called 911 reporting a house fire. Responding units saw heavy smoke and upgraded the call, bringing in additional resources. Firefighters arrived within six minutes and found the fire had spread to a nearby home. Neighbors used fire extinguishers and helped evacuate residents along with crews from Newberg-Dundee Police. Despite challenges including a partial roof collapse, firefighters brought both fires under control after nearly two hours. Two patients were evaluated on the scene and one transported to the hospital. Three residents have been displaced, and investigators are determining the cause.
