On Monday at 9:30 p.m., a resident on South Mckern Court in Newberg called 911 reporting a house fire. Responding units saw heavy smoke and upgraded the call, bringing in additional resources. Firefighters arrived within six minutes and found the fire had spread to a nearby home. Neighbors used fire extinguishers and helped evacuate residents along with crews from Newberg-Dundee Police. Despite...

He's so unintentionally funny he even makes a horrible situation gold
You have a pride flag as your symbol currently. How's your pandering going? All 2% of the population that are LGBT and Liberals send their approval. Hopefully next you have a flag for brunette hair folks as this has infinitely more representation in the general public.
Wit the generous salaries firefighters receive how much of their own salary do they contribute to their pension(s) in a calendar year.
What I remember from CPR training at 16 was between the nipples, to the beat of "Another One Bites The Dust", and it's better to crack some ribs than not push hard enough to do anything. I think it's roughly the same advice 20 years later, though I think rescue breathing is only for if they drowned or had some kind of gas exposure now, but not needed if the original problem wasn't air itself
Thank you for posting this, very helpful explanations as we decide about voting for this measure! Best takeaway - we currently pay $0.45 per $1000 assessed, so this replacement measure would be only $0.24 increase. You’ve got our vote. 👍👍
What are they wearing? European helmets hahaha? Yuck
Nice old steamer
Tillers are cool 😎
Awesome
Nice gear
This needs to pass, please vote for our fire and EMS folks who worked long shifts to keep us safe.
Pretty sure you arent supposed to wear your helmet in the apparatus. Its literally on the exam
They proved that he was.Don't work costumes or a cape. Bless these beautiful people that run into danger so others live 🙏

Tillers
We don’t wear helmets in the trucks until your 1 min to 30 seconds out from a scenv
I think that was just for the video
EMT and paramedics are not the same thing?
EMT-Basic is pretty much entry level emergency medicine. You’re allowed to do a lot more treatments as an EMT-Paramedic.
No, EMT or EMT Basic is the lowest level. There is EMT Advanced which is in-between paramedic and EMT. Paramedic is the highest level they can administer medications and read a EKG, and other stuff. Advanced EMTs can administer some or little medications. EMT Basic does the basics.
Nope. EMT do Basic Life Support (BLS) where Paramedics can do both BLS and ALS (Advanced life support). They can give many more drugs, start IVs, cardiac monitoring, and many more things. While an EMT (depending on the level, AEMT can do more) can only give about 9 drugs (oxygen included). The difference between an AEMT and EMT is they can start IVs and give a few more drugs, as well as placing advanced airways (i.e endotracheal intubation).
paramedics do more advanced stuff, EMT is basic medical aid
Sorry about whats gonna happen to your station boot.
Great recruiting video. Been in the service for 25 years and the change is amazing, when I started testing I went up against 300+ in the written test and now it's maybe 30. Of course this was before the CPAT, I tested using the combat challenge, man I'm old 😂😂😂
I graduate fire academy in may already passed my emt class
I’m thinking about doing this, I’m more interested in the Hillsboro/Beaverton areas though
had to double take because I didn't recognize the name, only the face! lady G is a champ
Wait, Johnathan and Bimothy are OREGON CITY NATIVES?! AH, I LIVE HERE! I NEED TO SCHEDULE AN EYE APPOINTMENT!
Why does awful stuff keep happening to good people

Hoping you get a lot of great firefighters and paramedics! But I just gotta say that pole is just fantastic and iconic! Truly they belong in all firehouses!
This is the best PSA for everyone to take a CPR course.
❤❤
I had a MI when I was 34. My husband did CPR on me. We live right across the street from a firehouse so I was shocked within 2 minutes of my MI. I now have a defibrillator/pacemaker.
MI or cardiac arrest? Different things
What a magnificent machine!
Im thankful this man is alive
I love firefighters I become a firefighter soon be a firefighter I like a fire truck and a firefighter ❤❤❤
10 MINUTES of chest compressions!!! Her cardio is on point!
I didn't know! OMG, I am so glad you are alive! I hope you are doing well. I still get so scared thinking of when my husband had his. I am CPR certified. I will encourage others to be.
Thank you for Dr Glauc lady Glaucomflecken
Stress and lack of sleep, the preparation to get into and out of med school, then finding a job to pay off the heart stopping debt
Too bad some of their firefighters are some of the morally lowest out there! Their heads aren't screwed on right.
That's why it's do important to take care of ourselves. He is heathy and this happened. I had a stroke at 43 no reason. I have no family history nor any risk factors. Please take care of yourselves.
Did you draw that v fib illustration?
is this real?
This man has had testicular cancer 2x and also an MI now that I’m aware but still brought us him and his 7? alter egos. He entertains and teaches us with his videos. The man deserves something big in life as well as after.
He didn't have a myocardial infarction. He went into cardiac arrest but it wasn't because of an MI.
MI is not the same as cardiac arrest. An MI can cause a cardiac arrest. In his case he def did not have a heart attack so something else caused the cardiac arrest
I had my first heart attack in the second grade they prescribed me 3 times my body weight in Ritalin and Adderall and other lab testing medications that weren't yet on the market I had my back fractured 3 times with compressed discs I had my upper ribcage imploded when I was a toddler I've had multiple seizures throughout my life
rjfjh😅🎉🎉vktohjdcn ye kw what channel is this from its djjfe😅😂🎉❤❤❤❤ cci😊dhc Just saw ciders
People keep being mean to me what should I do
Station 66 is a full functioning gourmet restaurant 😅 😋
I’ve been wanting to be firefighter for as long as I can remember. Even stronger when I got out of the military in 2018. Sounds like December 2nd is a great opportunity!!
I’m as to why he went into cardiac arrest. He is young. Wifey is a hero, she obviously caught it quickly too.
Most likely a congenital defect. His heart decided to go full on stupid and thankfully his wife was there to stop it. Eerrr restart it.
@@andreafox9137yeah that… or the ridiculous chronic stress, poor diet, lack of sunlight, copious stimulants usually needed to remain conscious for the Easter holiday weekend on call….
Genetic predisposition?
Great job ❤
