Well that's the best part of a family is that you look like them you inherit their looks or their genetics or how they think or how they speak it's all done through a great thing called DNA
Absolutely loved John Ritter. One of my all time favorite actors. I loved Threes Company. One of the best comedy sitcoms. Miss John so much! His son looks so much like him.
I once had a long conversation about John Ritter with someone and the importance of him and how good he was, and the person I was talking to just couldn't get it. They were stuck on the fact that he was just an actor who played in sitcoms . What was so special about that? There are 100s of actors who just play in a sitcom for the check. And you can tell those right away and generally those are the sitcoms that don't last or don't really touch people. As Jason stated here and anyone who ever watched John could tell, he was in it for more. He truly had a passion for making people laugh . he put him self into the roles he played no matter how goofy. The line is true , there are no small roles, only small people. Even roles as a guest star you could tell the impact john had on a room and a scene . he will be missed always
I had a hard childhood and John Writter (Jack Tripper) helped me so much. I felt safe happy and comforted when he was on TV. It breaks my heart they couldn’t figure out in time how to save him 😢
John Ritter was one of my boyhood idols! Loved his work, and he brought lots of joy to the world...... Miss him so much. I'm happy to see Jason acting this is awesome. HE looks like a leading man so hope he does great, and like his dad finds love, happiness, success, and unlike his dad a much longer life. RIP

Was a huge fan of John Ritter in 'Three's Company', and it's quite sad, even all these years after his death, to once again remember that he died at an earlier age than one would expect. It's something else to watch his son Jason being interviewed in this video. I can hear the similiarity in his speaking voice, in addition to the obvious physical similarities. I hear Jason Ritter is an actor as well, although I'm not familiar with his work, but it's refreshing to see he is carrying on the trade of the Ritter men since Rex started it all for them way back when. Bless this young man, and I wish him the best.
I saw this guy for the first time on Raising Dion. I knew he looked familiar and just couldn't place him. Now I know...He looks so much like his father John Ritter!
I know by John dying his brother’s life was saved but I hope his sons have been checked as well. I can usually watch John and laugh but sometimes there’s tears.
That is how my dad died in 2017. It ruptured and he lived long enough to tell my mom to not follow his helicopter to the hospital, to go home, and he would be fine.
Or it WAS an aortic dissection to begin with that was misdiagnosed as a heart attack. That's what they initially thought was going on with John to begin with until they ran further tests. By the time they figured out what was going on with John, though, it was too late.
I used to think he looks a lot like his dad and then I saw his brother Tyler. It's actually eerie. Looking at Tyler is like looking at John when he was on Three's Company, but with a current wardrobe.
If people haven't seen Billy Bob Thortons first film "Sling Blade," it's a must see not only for Billies amazing performance but for Ritters role as the gay grocery store owner.. Yoakum's performance was amazing too considering he was country music star and has had no formal acting experience....
Aortic Dissections happen in the USA about 10,000 a year. It is extremely rare. There are about 800,000 heart attacks in America every year. The survival rate is a lot lower for Aortic Dissection.
Not mentioned is the fact that his family sued the hospital and doctors and blamed them for John Ritter's death. The hospital settled out of court for $9.4 million, but the two doctors decided to defend themselves in court and won. The jury found them not negligent in Ritter's death.
I bet after John & Tex both died of Aortic dissection, Jason and his siblings get checked just in case! (also considering as Jason mentioned - his uncle (John's brother!) had it and luckily was treated! Lesson to all - get checked out annually if there are genetic conditions in your family!
John Ritter is a legend. His son looks and sounds like him so much. He’s also a very talented actor.
I agree with you and as for his son Jason Ritter, not that many people heard of him believe it or not.
I miss John Ritter so much. Jason sounds and looks just like him.

I can hear his dad in his voice.
This is one of the few times that I can *REALLY SEE* John in Jason Ritter's face, too.
First thing I thought when he spoke!!! It made me more sad, I miss seeing John Ritter. Watching Problem Child with my kids.
John Ritter, irreplaceable. 💔
One of the few people no one hated. Who else can that be said about?
John Candy. Both were well loved.

To this day I still miss John Ritter he was a wonderful hilarious good natured man 😢 his legacy will live on forever in our hearts

He is gorgeous.
He looks and has the same mannerisms as his dad , I'm sure his dad is smiling down on him proud of his son.

John Ritter was so good in Sling Blade.
Skin Deep, too; he was *hilarious* in that movie. :)

Style of comedy that John Ritter brought to the screen. He was one of a kind. Rip.

The fact that Larry King was on Gravity Falls twice is amazing
Heartbreaking. I loved John Ritter. His son a sweetheart like him.
JR was a great comedian and gave us this man We are grateful TY
I think John would be proud of the man that Jason has become!
John Ritter made me laugh everyday, watching Three's Company! He is still missed today!
John was probably the funniest guy who could also be the most serious guy. What range and entertainment.
If you've never seen it, find a copy of "Real Men" with John Ritter and Jim Belushi. Crazy funny.
Thanks going to check it out! Must be very funny.
Woah! Happen to be watching that right now on tv. Lol

I wish John could of been saved...Johns brother was sure lucky to have been saved when he got his aortic dissection
Diane Newman yep well tex had a heart attack which I’m pretty sure lead to the tear in his aorta

storyofcory I totally agree.. but Tex had a heart attack and then he survived that then later on in his life the aortic dissection caused his death
He has his father's beautiful iconic smile
Can’t imagine what Jason felt from losing his dad.

So sad! Miss John Ritter! Gone too soon! ❤. Jason Ritter, you are awesome too! Loving the Raising Dione show already also
Looks like his dad, never knew he had a kid. So sad he died young. I grew up watching Three's Company.
John had 4 kids. Just a side note - in the opening sequence of when they're all at the zoo - the little boy standing beside Joyce is Jason!
Alan Thicke passed from the same thing
So handsome like his Father
John Ritter was cute AND very very talented! RIP my friend.
Wow, he really looks like his dad
Jason Ritter rocks
Jason is very Handsome ❤
He's like the spitting image of his old man.
I know that actors hate to hear such things, but I'm clearly hearing Mr. Dipper Pines on him (especially when his voice gets higher a little bit).
Omg he look and talk like him
Very handsome

Dipper Pines and Larry King
Threes Company plays in my house every day
He even sounds like him...
Man he looks like his dad. But I know that conversation had to be difficult. Ppl just be so nosey

The main thing I hated about that movie was the fact that his character said the "F" word too much.
Not even close to his first movie but yes it is awesome!
He looks so much like him that I have to look twice.

It’s like dipper talking to the wax Larry king statue

Just such a tragedy that John's problem couldn't be detected earlier when there was still time to fix it.
