Especially on Champions League games the atmosphere in Dortmund is just special. You can literally "feel" the atmosphere cutting through the air.

As an American dortmund fan who has yet to make the trip it’s amazing to see the perspective from inside the stadium. This is the best form I’ve seen us in for the last multiple years. I’m confident if we play like this we can seriously challenge for the league and maybe have a Cinderella run in champions league!!!!

I guess the flight is the expensive part but other than that the tickets are pretty cheap and hotels in Dortmund are affordable too. I go regularly for 15 years now and it remains the highlight of every other week 😁

I'm a Chelsea fan and this was my first game watching them live, was seated with the BVB fans on the west stand and it was a great experience. Everything was perfect Beer, Wurst, friendly attitude from the home fans everything was perfect except for the result of the game😀 Plus you ran right past me in the main train station in Dortmund when everybody was stuck without transport in 1/2 AM.

@thogden You manage to catch the stadium atmospheres like nobody else. The Westfalenstadion is getting better and louder this year again and a real bond between supporters and the team is developing again like it was 10 to 12 years ago. Passion is on a rising again.
Its a wonder how a few good games really lifts the mood. Im a fan in sweden and i got to be honest, ive not followed them that much the last few seasons. Just hasnt fellt like players nor fans have been that pasionate. That has really changed this season and im so excited to see where tjis can go
Went there in 2016 as an away fan for a Europa league game against Porto. They’re fans are absolutely amazing especially the pre-game when the teams walk on to the pitch and they start their magic. Unreal atmosphere for sure one of the best in Europe

I stopped watching EPL on the telly, after i went to England to watch Man U vs Liverpool. It is over rated. German football is far superior, with their prices, atmosphere and football at the stadium. The English media does a great job hyping up and presenting the matches on TV. But for the live stadim football, the Scots and Germans are the top 2.

I live in Germany near Munich and been to Dortmund stadium and Bayern stadium. Here Ultras sing the whole match with drums and jumps.. seriously its amazing.

The rule is, that you should never film an Ultra Fan…The other rule there is you should not film because of the atmosphere that you could have an impact in not filming…. a.e. when they are clapping their hands…it’s pretty simple tho…go to a wider entrance and film…look at Robbie from aftv 😉
It is possible and if you are still making some noise on the terrace and you politely tell them for what that content is, there should be no problem…
If there is some stuff you should not film you could easily cut the scene out or put a black layer over the action and their faces🤝
