While it's true that Maddie gets all the perks because she's Abby's favorite, that's a fact but with all that Abby and her mom put continuous pressure on that kid, over what she puts on herself. Maddie had a breakdown before, I hope she's not headed for another soon. but it wouldn't surprise me. She's not having any kind of normal childhood as far as I can see, more so than the others even, so if anything I feel more sorry for her.

Maddie is like a lightbulb one day she's brighter and better than most of the little light bulbs in the world but one day she just gonna be burnt out and nobody will know her name again that's how it's going to be at Abby keeps making Maddie the star of the dance And always making sure that she has a better costume better choreography and better everything so Abby might want to give another kid chance to shine or else Maddie is going to burn out!! She wants (wanted, not sure which) to be a rockette one day. If she wants to be a brat and always be the center of attention, it's not going to work out. The whole part of being a rockette is to blend in, it's what makes it beautiful. The only reason to stand out as a rockette is that you did something wrong, you'd be handed a pink slip and headed to the unemployment line. Abby needs to give Maddie a rest. Maddie needs to relax and stop revolving her life around dance because it just isn't worth it! I'm not saying she's a bad dancer, but she just needs to work on her personality. I don't know what it is but she just rubs me the wrong way.
