Happy New Year 💗💗💗
Happy new year 🥳
Happy New Year Tina, a lot o blessings for your family in this new journey 🤍✨
thank you for the closed captions!! as someone who always uses them, it’s so nice to get accurate CCs instead of the auto-generated ones 🙌🙌🙌
Yes!! I appreciate closed captions as well. So true The devil is in the details as the saying goes. Miss Tina takes pride in quality detailed production plus respect for friends of the channel
I use them so much I didn't even notice they were there untill I saw this comment 😆
I know right! I live that she's doing this
@@alisimo83👌🏻🙌🏾👍 😆
@@alisimo83 OMG, same!!! Watching YT with CCs improved my English a lot over the last few years...
Those were pretty expensive but many ppl underestimate the skill it takes to do nails that look good (even up close) and last long and done quickly is a bonus. Considering the fact that so many different colors were used, I wouldn’t be surprised if they charged per color as well as for custom art done on all 10 nails.
All that said, they look great and I’m sure that even though some ppl think those are overpriced, many nail techs don’t change what they’re worth especially when it comes to nail art.
I for one was never satisfied going to the nail salon so I do my own gel sculpted nails and the supplies can get pricy if you want variety. Those ladies are also paying for commercial space to run a business on they’re own it seems so it all adds up to me!
I’d say that nail tech did a outstanding job ! Once you find a good tech that should be your go tech .
I‘ve never seen such a talented nail tech . How she applied the acrylic was so perfect and satisfying to watch. Uh, they look so beautiful🤌🏻✨💕
Really funky design! These ladies did an impeccable job. 240 AUD is a little on the high side though, wow.
forreal omfg i guessed mayyyybe 100 at the most 😳
@@starboyanakin I thought maybe 120-150 max. That is just wild compared to pricing here in Canada.
I am so happy that you're still doing this series during covid and during your pregnancy cause it's my favorite next to tina tries it 😭 you're giving us what we are here for rather than plain baby content like the rest of YTbers once they get pregnant.
Honestly Tina is the best 😭❤️ we should protect you at all costs.
Tina love you. You literally look like a princess in that red dress and hairband and you look even more beautiful obviously due to your baby girl and BTW congrats for the girl. Love you from India. 😍😍😍
Wow, your nails look absolutely amazing!
I've never had my nails done as I have such sensitive and brittle nails, so I didn't know the nails were molded that way. Very cool!
Your nails look amazing!! And i also love that you put closed captions in your video 🥰
Love that you added subtitles to this video! Thanks for putting in the extra effort Tina!
Those are absolutely beautiful....
I wish someone near me could do nails this good. Can't find anyone that does nails this good. The shape and arch are PERFECTION!!!!!!
$240 :( sorry but that really is too much for this. You can easily achieve this look for cheaper. i understand the length and time for the acrylic but it's a pretty basic design to be charging that much.
Totally agree
Yeah
I think she paid more because they did sculpted acrylics and/or the brand of products they used are more on the expensive side
High end products + time + fame!
You forget that you’re paying for their years worth of experience, time, salon space, skill and product altogether. She also had her first set removed as well which is extra!
This look may LOOK easy to achieve but especially considering australia has barely any formal training facilities and regulations for nail tech qualifications, those who actually invest in their craft deserve to charge what it’s actually worth for them to provide you this service. I do think it’s excessive but I also know that high end boutiques are always going to charge you a premium price even if you think it isn’t -quite- worth that!
I’m saying that, most lower end 2 ⭐️ salons in a shopping centre would still charge you $80-100 if not more for a set like this with half the skill and experience, especially with 5+ colours for the nail art. Just because it *looks* easy doesn’t actually mean it is! Just something to keep in mind!
i love when the artist has her nails done
Wow.. that's like $172 ish US dollars and there's no way at least not in NY
Hi Tina, great video! As a material scientist i just want to let you know that the monomer used for acrylic nails is highly dangerous for your baby when you breath the fumes (which is unavoidable when getting nails done). I'd recommend you opt for gel throughout this time.
Love, Lisa xx
How is it dangerous? Are you considering dose? Timing of exposure? Frequency of exposure? What is the evidence in humans? All important factors to consider when you are communicating a potential risk.
@@soniaalvarado5372 just google it for yourself. Monomer is used a lot in dentistry (dental technology). When monomer is unpolymerized it is highly cancerous, can cause fertility issues, liver and kidney damage etc as it goes straight into your blood. Regardless of how short the exposure. Nothing you'd want a baby around :)
@@lm5234 I would urge anyone who has a concern about exposures during pregnancy to consult a teratogen information specialist (who have expertise in this area) and not Google information which may not be up to date or may not apply to their case. In the US there are free teratogen information specialist services and countries like Australia also have their own teratogen services.
@@soniaalvarado5372 I have a PhD in Composites and Monomer Materials. That's why I had posted my comment. If you are unsure definitely go and check it out for yourself or ask your GP.
What an art! The process is soooo calming!
HAPPY NEW YEAR TINA!! 🥳🥳 no matter how good you are at doing your own nails sometimes it’s nice to be pampered and let someone else do them ☺️❤️. Loved the video!
😱 I cannot get over the price! This would cost circa 56 AUD in the UK
It wouldn't cost that much more at a normal nail salon here in Australia, this is just a super expensive one.
Some part of the US this wouldn’t be this expensive. My classmate has a beautiful long Cardi b nails with those crystals and it only cost $70. So this is overpriced
Tinaaaa you are looking amazing in the intro
Your outfit and whole look is rocking ❤️❤️
Wow the nail art is amazing but $240 for nails that only last for few weeks 😳
YUP.... that's what i was thinking :()
I been loving your Best in beauty series lately!❤️ Please, keep going! Wishing you the best for 2022 and your baby❤️
I love the captions! Thank you
$240!!!!
Where I live it is only 60-100
I’m actually obsessed with your Sydney videos, and I’m SO excited that ur in Sydney!! 💗
I think the base pink colour looks rlly nice
your nails look so pretty tinaaa😍 Cassie and Jade did a great job!💞
Wow they are so talented and the pastel shades are my fave. The price though omg I nearly fell out of my bed 😳 Australia is expensive in Ireland it would cost between like €25 and €50 mark for acrylics.
I would have charged $125 that’s for removal, full set of sculptured nails and art work. $250 is insane unless I’m ripping myself off 😬. My full sets are $75 AUD
Yea, my full set acrylic extensions with removal are about $100 with a design
Yep this nail place is not the normal price for nails in Australia
cj artistry is known for being extremely overpriced. at-home nail artists are usually much more artistically talented and less expensive. many at-home nail artists i went to would tell me that most of their clients came from cj artistry and stopped going there 💀💀💀
This is not the standard price in aus, as an aussie i was appalled that this nail salon id charging and ripping off their clients like this
As a nail tech in Europe I am still pretty surprised how trends are very, like VERY different in every country. If I did these nails here where I live especially with the apex so far from the cuticle and the thickness of the nail and the nail pointing downwards, my clients would not be very happy and me neither. Also the form was not places correctly, but I get it that not everyone is a fan of straight or even modern shaped nails like we in Europe are. 😊 I liked the design tho. 😊
I love Tina's videos, but your comment is so true. I can't imagine same result from top master in Moscow.
@@joy_air right?! That’s what I mean. This might be a trend in Asia and maybe US, but we are very much used to Russian and Ukrainian style nails. 🙏🏻
Omg this! The free edge looks so thick - it's a big no no for us, nail techs from europe, alongside the fact that the nail is slightly curving downwards. It would be fine with oldschool almond but not with square shape. And I also couldn't get over how she applied nail forms without adjusting and cuting them in right places. Another thing, trying removing the gel with acetone/remover? It's a basic knowledge that it's not gonna work.
@@Kaciiiii can you please link an example? Hahaha because I live in America and I’ve never seen European trends in nails 🥺
Tbh its not a trend here its just not a very good nail tech who overcharges for this kind of set :/
My friend got her nails done here once and they were so beautiful, definitely worth it if you have event coming up
I absolutely love your ring! It makes you look like a princess 😍😍
This is the earliest I have ever been 🥲💕
Wow, beautiful nails. You and the ladies are so talented. 💕 Tina, you can do it as well as them. Looking cute with the new haircut, Tina. 💕
I preferred the nails you had before, but the artistry those girls have is wonderful. I was thinking when you said that both girls were working on you at the same time that it would be risky, I mean how could they get both hands looking the same, but they did.
I can't wait to see you do beauty and fashion videos with your own little girl in a few years 💕💕💕
I've been wearing square nails since the 80's, I love the square look.
wow now that is form placing like I've never seen before!
Oh my gosh, these are so beautiful 😍
Ly
Gosh the colorssss😍😍😍😍
I needed this right now
Nails appeared lovely and the design is pretty, but super thick! What's the reason for that? The technician's were extra thick and curved too. I appreciate that it's called "Best In Beauty" but does that justify the cost? It's beyond most pockets, including mine. I'm pretty sure, with your own excellent expertise, you'd come up with a better and less thick design and more affordable style.
the shape as well is so square and bulky 😬 i much prefer Tina's own work
The technician barely filed them down so that is why they seemed so thick. Some nail technicians tend to do thicker nails so the nails are harder to break. I know some customers with long nails would prefer thicker nails but long-lasting than those thiner and more fragile. What the technician is having on her nails is a long almond/pointy shape nail set, which probably explained why they are curvy (and she might have kept her old nails for a while). The thickness can depend on the technician's and the customer's preference though. However, this set is quite thick for my preference too. The shape is neat and she has done amazing smile line design though.
@@HaHoang-bm2ir no, this is so wrong. What makes the nail harder to break is the architecture and not thickness - proper apex, c curve, and side walls, those are the most important. The proper thickness in the apex, with this lenght, is around 1,5-2mm, free edge tho - 0,7-1mm. And yes we have tools to check that that don't cost a lot.
Awesome nails, thanks for this chill entertaining vid, I really needed it🥰
Wow they are beautiful
Wow there so beautiful I really love your video Tina love you ❤️❤️also Happy New year to everyone hope this year will bring luck to everyone
yessss! number one fan!!!!!!! love you Tina!
hey from oz!
They’re so cute and springy!
Such beautiful pastel colour
Your nails turned out so adorable, I love the colors. Also I never tried that rectangular shape, I usually get almond but I might try it out next time! :)
Happy New Year! Love these designs. So relaxing to watch them work xx
Your "short" nails are what I consider long on me 💅
love your videos you make my day !
They turned out so cute and bubbly just like you!
Pretty Nails! but crikey that’s expensive!! I charge about $100 for removal and a full set of sculptured nails, obviously extra for nail art. $250 is insanely pricey.
The smile lines are 😘🤌
$240....that's crazy!!!
Love the set. I think it's one of the best you have shared with us.
Beautiful and satisfying
So refreshing to see some representation of the Western and Inner West suburbs. Sydney is so much more than Bondi and the CBD.
Your natural nails are so long and strong though! Mine could never 😩 loved the result
love that tina is promoting local business
You're glowing! Love this!
I appreciate it idea nail design, but every country it's different strategy, for nail art, here in Saudi Arabia🇸🇦 simple & natural but elegant, thank you for sharing this video miss Tina, watching from SAUDI Arabia🇸🇦🇵🇭LILSTYLE ❤
Love the colors. Very relaxing 😌
The way she did the linework was so satisfying
Thanks for the cc. I use it all the time
Your natural nails are beautiful
Very nic!e! I will say I prefer the lots of glitter and bling that you sometimes get with Japanese or Korean style nails 😂
Hi Tina from Melbourne, VIC. Congratulations on baby news, how exciting, thanks for sharing it all so far!
Could you please advise on what to do for first time nail visit? I have never had my nails done, not sure what to get and your advice?
Acrylics, gels etc., I have no idea what to ask for! Help? I would prefer something that doesn't damage the nail underneath, if possible....
I know people who do practically the same quality of nails but half the price… that’s crazy lol
I can’t believe I’m this early!! Love you Tina! Such a role model for an Asian woman like me ❤️❤️
Omg I’m early?! I love you Tina and I wish for so many good things for your future little family!❤️
Excuuuuuse me?! How much? Holy moly. Idc how good they are, imagine having that amount of money to waste every 3 weeks 😬😬😬😬
WAIT WHEN DID YOU COME BACK TO AUSTRALIA!
Happy new year to you and your family. Stay safe and positive. I love your videos, they're so entertaining. ❤
Loved this video!!!!!!!!!!! Happy New Year everyone
What a cute set!
Tina you're glowing.
Shhhhhheeeet £130 for that ? That’s really expensive compared to the UK.
The cost😳nope. They look lovely.
you finally had some subtitles thankyu so much ♥♥
I'm not gonna lie, the nails look far too chunky. I get acrylic done in central London regularly and they are able to make my nails a beautiful shape and relatively thin so they're not heavy - freehand building on tips without forms! I don't think the nail tech was that good tbh
Thanks for an awesome video 🥰❤️
Love your video and many thanks for including subtitles!!
Your natural nails are so nice, putting acrylic on them made me nervous lol acrylic destroys my nails 🤣
Acrylic shouldn't hurt your nails.. I'm a nail tech who only works with acrylic. Nail Extensions of any kind will only damage your nails if 1. The tech was too rough and over filed your nail plate, or 2. The were removed improperly.
Colors are pretty but I wish they pinched the forms more
Haha. I thought I was the only one that noticed!? 😜 I used to do nails…graduated beauty school in Mar ‘02. While I love watching nail vids, it’s hard for me!! I notice those kinds of things! 🙈 That, and what’s up with the bulk acrylic?? They should have tapered the sides more and thinned out the free edge. Those were super fat. 🥴
I thought this exact thing!!!
Omg they're beautiful
Love love love your nails! They came out really cute. Love from Texas, 🇺🇸
Syd? Did you move back to Australia?
My nails are very short and thin. I only got fake nails for prom (with the shortest option), it made my natural nail grow. I hated having normal length nails that cut and scratched everywhere, so I went back to shaved nails. Also, my cuticles have blended in my nails. So yeah, I'm no candidate for these.
But you look amazing.
Your ring is so elegant and pretty!! Do you mind sharing where it is from?
Happy New Year Tina wow they look amazing I have never had my nails 💅 done was post to for my wedding but got cancelled as they lady was sick 😫
I have a starter kit but to affable to try just incase I ruin my nail.
💖🎀🎉🍾🥂🎉XXXXXXXX
CJ ARTISTRY IS THE BEEEEST!! everyone there is amazing & the service is unreal! 10/10 recommend
Happy new year! I get my nails done at CJ as well! Love their work! Xx
CJ is the best 😘😘😘😘 love all the girls there!!!
That tech really did a outstanding job ! Finding a tech sometimes hard . Once you find a good one it’s well worth it ! & that should be your go to tech !
Is it safe doing nails during pregnancy?
Love the end result very beautiful
Love ur videos !
Love these videos you do I would love to see more x
I love your nail art videos Tina🥺 I just get motivated to get a nail salon soon by watching your videos😂 bdw you look beautiful Tina🥰 Red suits you. Love from India🇮🇳❤️
Tinaaaaaa sissss you rock I mean you are so beautiful and perfect….love ❤️❤️🌈☺️
I really enjoy your nail salon visits but for this one it's just too basic for the very high price imo 😕 I prefer the way you do your nails yourself. I've seen a lot more elaborate designs from nail artists in Australia who charge less. And they weren't wearing their masks properly when Sydney's having it's worst covid outbreak eek!
